**Trigger warning: This piece contains a lot of partisan vitriol, but I'm purely concerned with the data contained.**

Source'

According to expert Eric Eggers, research director at the Government Accountability Institute, 170 registered voters in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District are listed as being “over 116 years old.”

Considering that the world’s oldest living person is a 115-year-old resident of Japan, this is a big problem.

This clearly illustrates the need to scrub voter rolls. However, this is the key part that pretty much proves there was voter fraud in this district:

“That’s 10 percent of Balderson’s current margin of victory, pending provisional ballots,” Eggers wrote. “And 72 voters over the age of 116 who ‘live’ in Balderson’s district cast ballots in the 2016 election.”

That's pretty much impossible. There's no way 72 people of that age all live in that district. This clearly calls for an audit of that vote. Note: the 2016 line confuses some people. He's not saying 72 voters over the age of 116 voted in the special election that happened this week. They don't have data on that yet.

The article contains a lot of anti-Democrat rhetoric, but notably it doesn't specify which party those 72 "voters" voted for. I really don't care which party they voted for, they are obviously voter fraud and this needs to be stopped. This isn't about race, ethnicity, gender, or any other excuse for not verifying eligible voters. We need a massive overhaul of our voting system to stop this nonsense. And I know "Well it's only 72 votes". Yeah, in one district. What would the number be if you looked at the whole state? The whole country? With all this talk about "securing the election" lately, who could possibly be against this?

I'm not surprised that there are instances of voter fraud. It's a system run by humans, so I'd be hard pressed to ever think it will be perfect.

If we evaluate the ways our system is vulnerable, I think it is important not to choose which one to rally around for partisan agenda.

I think lobbyists and unlimited campaign contributions are the greatest risks against our democracy right now. Voter fraud and foreign actors pale in comparison.

It a point, but many are going to jump on this...so

These votes mean little in a national election involving millions.

What is always missed, is many times local elections are decided by 100's of votes (hundred). Plenty of voter fraud at local levels. E.g.. one "conviction" involved more than just their vote.

It "doesn't matter" unless the margin of victory is really close. And this is just one method of voter fraud. How many more fraudulent votes would be found if there was a comprehensive audit?

I like melon.

And what I said was true.

the leftist ideology isn't about more freedoms, it's actually about less.

But it's "couched" in a way (a lie) so that it appears to offer stuff for free.

Voter fraud is part and parcel of what they do.

So anyone who leans left is a cheater by their very nature? Sorry DB but I'm calling BS on your generalizations and broad brush stereotypes.

Okay.

Fair enough I suppose.

But I will always be on the side of more freedoms, not less. And by that very nature, I find myself at odds with people who endorse a leftist ideology.

That's why conservatives helped get the gays their rights. Just another way they proved the left sometimes just wants to limit/take away freedom.

hmmf!

An example of when I was at odds with those on the right.

Then again, I will always side on more rights and freedoms, not less.

So are you for more freedoms or less when compared to say a classical liberal or libertarian?

Yeah.......yeah

It’s not hard to figure out why the Dems are so against universal voter ID.
But I guess we don’t want to piss off the 10s of thousands of people across the country over the age of 116.
By the way, maybe not everyone that is a Liberal is a cheater....but all the Liberals that hold a political position are cheaters.

Likewise.

That's why I stand against corporate fascism from Facebook,Google,Twitter, and their conservative book burning.

That's why I stand against the CHURCH of Climatology.

That's why I stand against disarming law abiding citizens.

That's why I stand against 'democratic' socialism.

That's why I stand against VOTER FRAUD. See Dead people voting.
