jobs jobs jobs

if they want to work and someone wants to give them a job then they should be free to do just that.

now you sound a little socialist with the post you just made.

it is called freedom and i am not opposed for employers that would hire them to bear responsibility for them.

Again if walmart seems to necessitate government subsidy to survive, how do you think these people are going to make ends meet without said subsidy? Oh they could take 2 to 3 jobs and be worked to death, or the high incentive to resort to crime.

You would have american citizens suffer by providing mass wage slaves, basically eliminating all job opportunities for the poor, while overworking migrants like slaves. All for what? You do know that if american citizens can't work en masse welfare will have to be extended, subsidizing indirectly your mass slave labour.

Actually that’s not true. Especially when they have claimed to be asylum seekers.

Wouldn't it be nice if the ACLU had spent 15 seconds (or 15 cents) arguing that the individual mandate in Obamacare was an unconstitutional violation of a person's right to choose?

According to their lawsuit, Carmen and her young daughter came to the US from El Salvador after "two decades of horrific sexual abuse by her husband and death threats from a violent gang." Even after Carmen moved away from her husband, he raped her, stalked her and threatened to kill her, the lawsuit states. Further, a gang held her at gunpoint in May and demanded she pay a monthly "tax" or they would kill her and her daughter. Carmen knew of people killed by their husbands after going to police and by this gang and thus fled to the US

www.cnn.com...

Seems bad if true but i do wonder if the usa is the only option for her. Obviously the threat of being held by a gang can not be verified and ex husband could be dealt with if there were police protection in place.

They only added that violent gang stuff after "Carmen" returned on the plane. I don't recall it being part of the original story. The ACLU case covers 6 or 8 people, not just "Carmen." Maybe that is true or maybe they are getting the details jumbled with the other asylum seekers. Since the entire purpose of the ACLU suit is to remove both the domestic violence and gang related restrictions, they had to have that in there somewhere.

Walmart employees are among the largest groups on food stamp -reuters

Amazon Gets Tax Breaks While Its Employees Rely on Food Stamps- theintercept

If many of the workers at the lowest levels depend on foodstamps. Again do you think the employers are going to pay prospective foreign workers more? Oh how's that going for china and the slave labour over there?

Again, foreign workers knowing no better will work for peanuts, even if they can't survive on said work. They'll be living in the U.S. and I didn't hear you saying deny their children citizenship, so they'll get pregnant and have their children granted american citizenship.

Note that some of these companies get away with lots of part time workers, but it is not like full time work will allow people to make ends meet.

Again supply and demand, supply and demand. Excess workers depress wages, because of an overabundance of workers.

Companies have already gotten away with slave wages by using countries like china for mass manufacturing. They also pay peanuts to skilled professionals who they either have working in another country or manage to bring here.

How can you not have a problem with exploiting the desperation of the poor at the expense of american citizens for the enrichment of the few?

Prolly just a reporting issue cause i do not think the aclu can change the filings after the hearing started.

From what i read between the lines in what i posted is the woman was married to a gang member for 20 yrs.. Maybe he was not always a member but i believe that is what they are not saying that him and his gang put pressure on her after the divorce.

Perhaps it is time for the usa to help them down there rather than deal with them here. I looked at the amount of aid we have givin them and it is not much.Nor is the amount of police training and other things has not been much.

well as far as companies having part time workers...that is a product of obama care in many cases.

As far as the amount of workers here it should be up to the states to decide how many they want to let in and be responsible for.

Any child born here is a citizen automatically.

The number one mainest reason mexicans come here and work for minimum wage is because of the difference in the currency. A hundred dollars they send home is a thousand for them down there. They do not mind suffering a bit to get rich when they get home.

jobs jobs jobs

Maybe we could make more stuff here.

Perhaps we could take health care out of the job description.

The woman was married to a gang member for 20 yrs. Maybe that's the case. They way they made it sound was much different to me at first but as I read your quote again, it seems to line up. You probably researched this more than I have. I've read 4 or five articles, mostly right when the story broke and watched about 6 videos that were almost all the same. As far as I know, CNN is the only source that reported on the gang element. I may have seen a video today with a female ACLU lawyer that also mentioned it.

It would be nice if the govt could clear this up. It's as if no matter how many times these immigration problems get straightened out, another judge will just come along in a couple of weeks with another crazy ruling. As far as I can tell, these judges can keep doing this indefinitely. I guess we're going to have to get used to it.

I have known about four Judges pretty well throughout my life. They were really decent to me, I respected them and they showed me respect too. Three of those judges of the four were very opinionated about some things though, good people but very opinionated. In many issues they were not bias but in plenty they were. I have been in court with others and seen how other judges act and they also have their pet peeves and quirks and most often hate being challenged.

Never rub a Judge the wrong way and you will be fine. I do not believe this judge is interpretting things right though, the deportation does not mean the lawsuit ends, it only means that the person will have to legally come into the country to testify, which is possible if she gets a legal visa, or the lawyers can handle this with her in that other country. I see no problem with sending her back myself, she was here illegally, how can she even be allowed to sue when she was committing a crime. Are we going to start giving criminals special rights now?

I wasn't asked to present facts about this woman's particular case. I was challenged by the suggestion that gang and domestic violence in El Salvador are very hard to prove. As I've shown, that's not true. Facts are facts, and most people claiming "fake news" are just unhappy with the facts. SAD.

LOL! No you weren't. You were challenged to prove that the government wasn't capable of protecting her or refused to protect her. Even though her attorneys claim that they provided proof, all they claimed was that the local police didn't respond to her cries for help. I'm doubting that local police represent the entire El Salvadorian government.

How can we help El Salvador more when it takes everything we've got to keep Mexican gangs and drug cartels out?

I only have one problem with this story. Why couldn’t they round up the ACLU and fly all of them to Central America as well, that is where they belong. They are trying to turn the US into a third world country so why not just take them all down there so they can see what it’s really like.
Also, it’s funny you mention Clinton in your post. I know you were trying to be sly but since you are full of so much information and wisdom it’s kind of ironic. Hillary is the biggest criminal of all of your left wing lunatics. If you want to discuss injustice you should start there. I can help if you need a list of crimes committed by either of the Clintons.... you know, to store in your knowledge bank.

That's what I was getting at, they cannot see the big picture or even think about the consequences of their actions.

They will ignore over population, ignore lack of resources, ignore lack of jobs, ignore school compacity and just recklessly let everyone in.

Thats your definition of a bleeding heart liberal
