Let's say all of the dossier was true for arguments sake.

Did Trump give them the "pee tape", or any of the other alleged dirt that was in said dossier?

CNN freelancers at it again I see. Two years in and still nothing huh. If they haven't found anything by now, they never will find anything in the next two years. I sincerely hope Mueller gets fired for incompetency, serious waste of tax dollars chasing a biased myth.

I wonder if it will end up that Trump agrees to answer an agreed upon list of written questions. If memory serves, Hillary did something similar at one point, didn’t she? If President Trump agrees to that, then it would be his lawyers advice. If he agrees to answer in person, then he is dumb/stupid/naive, or knows without a doubt he can answer and not implicate himself in anything—which likely be hard for him to do.

It seems that Mueller is trying to show that he has given trump every opportunity to answer questions should he choose to move forward without that.

It seems also like trumps lawyers are trying hard to prevent him from any lengthy conversations where he might start elaborating or take them down some labyrinthine path where he will be at risk.

Flynn was indicted for making supposed false statements, even tho the agents who interviewed him didn't think he was being dishonest.

Why should Trump set himself up for the same treatment? Mueller has already established that he is not acting in good faith.

No one thinks trump could have that interview without committing perjury...

He can’t make it trough a single interview or statement without lying about something..

I agree. Crazy Uncle Donald lies every time he opens his mouth. There is absolutely no way he could make it all the way through an interview without perjuring himself at least once.

Even if he had his legal team consult with him before he answers every single question, he would still go off script and slip in at least a little white lie.

He should refuse to participate in the interview, sighting "witch hunt" or "fake news" or one of the other sound bites that his followers swallow with great relish.

Robert Mueller should concentrate his efforts on the lower hanging fruit. He should just leave Mr. Trump to his own devices and let the political process play out for him.

President Donald Trump's legal team plans to respond to special counsel Robert Mueller's request for a potential interview with the president in the coming days. The response could happen as soon as Tuesday or Wednesday, sources with direct knowledge told ABC News.

Giuliani spoke to reporters after an event last Thursday, saying his team was in the process of responding to Mueller's request.

"They took about 10 days and yesterday we got a letter back for them. Now we're in the process of responding to their proposal," Giuliani said Aug. 2.

I just saw a report saying it is believed that they will submit their reply today.

What does this crew think that reply will be?

And what will the subsequent actions by Muellers team be if they decline?
Mueller wants to talk about obstruction.
