Good evening folks nice to meet some like minded people, am from the UK and have been a long time lurker/fan of this forum and just decided to get a bit more involved. My more favourite topics are normally in UFO conspiracies, lost civilizations and goverment secrets so will be having a good search through old threads hopefully speak to some of you soon.

Compare cod fish & chips to halibut fish & chips. Actually, there is no comparison. Halibut is so much better that cod is not worth eating.

Begs the question. Are they cod or halibut? You need to compare the two side by side to see what I mean. Cod is a bit wet and greasy where halibut is flaky and dry. In restaurants that offer both, halibut is always more expensive and worth it. I know the UK is famous for fish and chips, but I also live in an area that takes its seafood seriously: The PNW including Alaska. I once caught a 105 pound halibut trolling in Alaska.

I prefer haddock.
Not sure if I have ever had halibut.
A traditional delicacy around the NE area of Scotland is an Arbroath Smokie. Again a haddock...smoked. Very distinctive flavour. I think they are shipped all over the world. They are made in a small coastal fishing town....where, when you get close to the harbour area ...all you can smell is the fish being smoked. It is a lovely wee place ( no pun )

Never had the option of haddock. I'll certainly try it if I find it. Thanks.

Not branching out, I’ve been a fan since the early 90s.

I don't mind call of duty but I prefer a different type of game... i.e. Witcher
