HAHA! Donald Trump has another first! First time ever in the history of Hollywood that a star has been removed from the Walk of Fame! Donald Trump, always breaking records!

We are living in a dystopian version of the USA and that should truly concern people. Rewriting history to fit a narrative is a scary thing and trying to cleanse history by removing evidence of it for political pandering purposes is even scarier.

If they are going to do it, do it right. I'd wager half the people who have stars have something that could be dug up to use as an excuse. Lets not discriminate.

But Kevin Spacey and Bill Cosby's remain.

Let that sink in.

And I agree with you on that. Get em all off, but really who cares. It's a tourist spot. Never been there, and probably never will go.

So wait...let me get this straight. A city is trying to make demands to another city with what they should do with one of their own tourist stunts.

West Hollywood is not Hollywood or los Angeles. They're totally seperate cities. It's none of their business...literally. talk about disassociated from reality and common sense.

Mind your own business and get in where you fit in.

Yeah, but Kevin Spacey and Bill Cosby had their memberships to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revoked.

Bill Cosby stood trial and Kevin Spacey lost his job in House of Cards, and may also stand trial. So, the victims got some sense of justice. Now, Trump's victims feel some sort of justice too.

Trump divides. Porn brings us all together.

The division happened before Trump even announced his candidacy. Porn has also torn apart families, and taken advantage and hurt many women.

Porn wins hands down.

From the way you represent your perspective I think you mean.....hands up and down.

You need a nice big dose of truth in your life.

And what did I say that wasn't true?

Then shouldn't that include star removal for them?

ETA: And why the mad face? They did horrible things with their celebrity, are you mad because they wont be acting anymore?

Remove it, put it back. Does anybody really care? Seriously, who cares?

California is on fire every year. Kinda tired of caring about that.

Most stringent environmental regulations in the country, always on fire. Things that make you go hmmm.

Leftists have a history of this.

From burning books to tearing down statues, they want to destroy history.

It's a mindset I find. . . "alien".

Rewriting history to fit a narrative is a scary thing

You mean like claiming that America was founded as a capitalist, Christian nation, and removing Thomas Jefferson from Texas schoolbooks?

Yeah, they probably should, but they (the City Council) made a statement about Spacey and Cosby losing their membership, at the same time announcing not replacing Trump's star, so I guess that's their excuse for not removing those stars. The mad face was to illustrate the Academy's disapproval when they revoked Cosby's and Spacey's membership. LOL

You know, reading the words written by the founders themselves, yeah more or less.

Seems that to state otherwise has only been a recent endeavor. Which would be an attempt to rewrite history.

Ok they lost their membership. Did they address what would be done with the stars, or will they continue to receive upkeep.

Naw.. Just what I already said. Their announcement was fairly brief. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if down the road they started removing some stars because of protests.

When asked about star removal

"The answer is no," Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive, said in an emailed statement. "Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk."

www.latimes.com...

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
