Elizabeth Heng is running against Jim Costa in California. Now, we are know Cali is a liberal state and here we see more banning for nothing of candidate who are running against the left.

A graduate of Stanford as well as Harvard with an MBA she is what people should strive to be. A women making a difference, right? Is that not what HRC and the rest of #resist preach. I mean, we have an immigrant female as FLOTUS but no one wants to acknowledge that either.

This is the video that was banned....

It is nothing but the truth. No hate. No violence. Not even any real attacks against her opponent so why was it taken down?

With all of the things about our president, the hate and rhetoric, that is presented everyday in social media this is just one more notch taking about the right to free speech and expression.

Easy. The first few pictures are disturbing. Has nothing to do with politics, in my opinion. She could use less graphic images and more specific narration to achieve the same result. Issue solved.

Censorship seems to be the new political tool for the left. They have no message, no leaders and no hope other than silencing their opponents.

A genocide tends to be disturbing.

They probably threw it out because she is just showing what communism does to a country.

Big no-no for the left.

Did you know they have a Cambodian Genocide Memorial museum in Houston?

Guess the left will shut that down soon too...

Dude...this is America. I see a lot worse stuff on FB besides the reality of what happened in Cambodia.

Facebook, Twitter, Google = CIA/Deep State control. Jerks.

She's a female minority with a brain that is conservative.

So to the tolerant left she wandered off of the plantation and must be stopped.

Hope that helped.

Wow, she seems like a great person. I would be proud for her to represent me.

I hope Facebook, Twitter, Google et al get their crap together before some Government lawmakers do it for them. These social media companies have anti-trust suit written all over them.

I hope they go down and go down hard.

ETA: Real.Video is already a great alternative to YouTube.

It's coming.

Not really. I was looking for a real answer.

I could have easily created the same answer you gave, just knowing the idiotic rhetoric that comes from the Right.

So why did they really ban this from FB? Can you answer that?

This is about Facebook, not Youtube.

The video in the OP is on YT.

What? Are you serious? Please tell me this was sarcasm. Also, based on your comments, you did not take the 3 minutes to watch it.

Facebook is a private company, so it can do what it wants with regard to content posted on it.

It does not appear to have anything to do with her discussing what her family survived in Cambodia. It appears to be the imagery she used in the video.

Facebook is strict on that aspect.

Not if they get themselves slapped with an anti-trust suit they can't.

Regardless, are you for the Internet Dark Ages? Do you REALLY want censorship as the norm?

I mean some of you people are nuts with wanting less free speech.

Censorship is the enemy of a free people.

That is true, but it doesn't matter.

This thread is just another example of the Right Wing persecution complex.

Censorship happens even on ATS.

I didn't say anything about liking it. It's just the reality of our laws and Constitution.

They protect us from government censorship - not so much private.

What is your solution? Force private property owners to conform to what you find acceptable? Will you use the state to force your ideals?

I watched the first minute. That was what they'll tell you it was pulled for. Right or not. The rest was the feel good story. I saw no problem with that. I don't necessarily like everything Facebook does and I'm not defending them, i'm just telling you why they pulled it.
