Because I see nothing to defend. The 1st Amendment wasn't violated, and I already boycott Apple for other reasons. So there is nothing for me to get bothered about.

It's an infringement upon a fundamental human right. Censorship is a common practice of the worst regimes, dictators, theocrats and governments in history. Just know that others will stand up for your human rights if and when the moment arises, even if you cannot be bothered to do the same.

I really don't care if Apple infringes on rights or not. I only care if a government does it. As long as Apple isn't breaking the law then I see no issue.

Also, I was in the Army. I've already stood up for my rights. Thank you very much.

The first amendment is simply being bypassed. The result remains the same.

Well this is a lie. The 1st Amendment can only be violated if the government is involved. You clearly need to go study up on civics.

I've made my point clear. Alex Jones isn't entitled to having his product hosted on Apple's services. Trying to spin this as a free speech issue is dumb and really shows you don't respect Apple's rights.

Boohoo. He has a website of his own. If people don't visit it then that is his own marketing problem.

Marketing on the internet requires content sharing and search in the mix... and they are massive drivers off traffic. Far more so than paid media.
Infowars is dead, they just don't know it yet.
Whether Jones content is tripe or not, I can't really can't see the good in this coordinated effort. It highlights the power to pick winners and losers in the hands of the very few.

Yea, Im sure you would. And I can cook homeless people in my basement because its on a private property.

And this - if I make you sign me a contract - lets say employment contract under a minimal wage --- its not valid. The part of the contract that is unlawful is not valid. Their T&C use to have thousands of pages because its legaly binding them to provide you a service.
Lawyers are burning his phone by now. Im pretty sure they are drooling to get it

Well that's how capitalism works in reality. The top earners tend to coordinate to eliminate or absorb the competition and eventually end up as monopolies. But that is a story for a different thread.

If politicians where not sponsored by corporations or governments did not use corporations to there own ends I might believe you. But this is simply not the case.

If the world was a simple as the propaganda provided in your civcs it would all be a lot easier. But the world is far more complex than that.

It is a free speech issue. Do you or do you not care for free speech? Or is a trillion-dollar corporation's right to censor a user more important?

I don't care if you believe me or not. You are lying if you are claiming that the 1st Amendment was violated. Well either that or you are just plain ignorant to how the Bill of Rights works.

Yes and monopolies end up as dictatorship as is that case here. The USA has been sold through the back door and your licking it up like sugar candy.

Monopoly busting is an aspect of Democratic Socialism. As far as conservatives are concerned we should be ok with monopolies because breaking them up is government intervention.

I didn't realise Jones was so popular... his app has gone to #4 on the charts for free apps, above the likes off CNN, MSNBC and NYT.

To put CNNs hypocrisy into perspective, they have tweeted to apple to remove the app. So who is it that is really attacking media outlets, CNN?
