Just don't make a career of it

I prefer Guinness.
Just one.

Husband gets worried when I drink, I don't want to stress him out.

If I don't maintain control I might do something I regret.

No need to keep fighting, sounds like you've done enough of that.

I'm in similar spot, can't get a job as an injury makes the the insurance to high for an employer to give me a go. I'm slowing generating my own work and hopefully can make it work. I hope things get easier for you...

Thanks.

I'm trying to find a way to attend an online course for a local University (an hour away, I have no car) but the paperwork is daunting and applying for a scholarship spins me just trying to FIND them and then fill them out is a challange.

I can't even do simple stuff anymore even though I have the talent for the Major.

Just trying to consolidate resources and not give up in the process.

If I can't handle simple paperwork, how the hell am I going to manage a caseload?

Everything seems futile.
It nags me daily.

I go for long walks and pick up trash on the side of the road or put shopping carts back in the return carriage just to keep busy.

I don't want to end up homeless again.

I'm trying.

The current climate is very tough, people like us fall though the cracks quite a lot, obviously this is why the homeless situation all across the western world is escalating out of control .

I wish I could do more than just say " don't give up "

Just a heads up, my meds finally kicked in and I can get some sleep now.

Gotta be up early tomorrow.

Thanks for the comradeship everyone, you really helped me take the edge off.

HUGS!

Giving up is not an option.
Thanks for the kind words.

You're right, this too shall pass.

Head up, headstrong, ever forward.

I'm not sure what to tell you that you haven't already heard. It's ok to say everything sucks, it's cathartic. Sometimes everything really does suck and it's ok to kick a puppy (figuratively speaking, don't kick an actual puppy)
