The legislation is entitled “Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act”, and it was introduced in both chambers of the US Congress last spring by Republican and Democrat legislators. It was initially entitled “Countering Information Warfare Act”, but was subsequently revised and included in the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2017. It was approved by the House of Representatives on December 2, and by the Senate on December 8. President Obama signed it into law on December 23. Under the new law, the Department of Justice has to take initiative within 180 days, and collaborate with the Department of Defense, before reaching out to “other relevant departments and agencies”. Resulting from this process will be the establishment of a “Center for Information Analysis and Response”. The goal of the Center will be to collect and analyze “foreign government information warfare efforts”, and to “expose and counter foreign information operations” directed against “US national security interests”. The plan will be funded in the amount of $160 million over two years.

Read this one backwards too. The key to this one is the first/last sentence. "This is what happens when POTUS has no strings attached." This would strike fear into some and would explain a lot. This is a Definitive statement, as in 'it is" and NOT "what if the POTUS..." Like it or not the implication here is DJT has cut the strings and much of that idea suggests FED kaput.

Now, I'd quibble with the GDP, as that number likely does not include the Government's GDP, which, as a rule, is twice the national. So, it begs Q's ultimate question: Why does a country with a 40trillion dollar GDP seem broke and need more and more of the inhabitants energy to survive? At 40trillion dollar GDP, why are we working for 8 months a year to pay of the ORIGINAL DEBT OWED TO THE FED? yep, we still owe the original loan value (250 million if I remember correctly).

Good God, the “Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act” Sounds like we would do the same thing as China and Russia in "POPULATIONS SUSCEPTIBLE TO FOREIGN MANIPULATION".

and the use of covert or clandestine special operators and agents to influence targeted populations and governments in order to coordinate and shape the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures to expose and refute foreign misinformation and disinformation and proactively promote fact-based narratives and policies to audiences outside the United States.
