I have yet to see anyone explain HOW Russia has helped Trump win in 2016. Not even any far-out theories...like mass mind control or anything.

What about the people who don't use computers? Or own them. Like in poor area's of America.

Democrats here in Chicago push back hard at any ideas put forth to ensure that every vote is cast properly and legally. It might be that way in many parts of the country?

I don't know. It seems that death changes a person and their party affiliation.

Russians are the least of our worries.

I agree. The news media ignores Intel estimates that maybe, perhaps, possibly .03% of the 2016 vote was affected by Russian BOTS.

That’s the weird part about it. Anything Russia did, the political operatives and even the government have done ten-fold. We know of domestic bot farms, leaks, political assassination, astroturfing, social media influence campaigns, spying, the wedding between party and media, and meddling, but the MSM pays no attention to it.

Also, the election infrastructure could be set up like the banking system. Each person has one vote in their account. When you actually vote, the balance is reduced to 0 (zero). Also, a valid ID must be presented for voting, just like it must be for withdrawing cash at Chase.

It also opens the door for illegals to get free ObamaCare. But that's for another thread..

Maybe those items are geared towards helping politicians whom the media likes/supports?

That is actually some hard truth for the U.S. to swallow. It is okay for us to do it, but not them. The biggest kicker is that what is being discussed about Russia isn't what should be discussed. How much of the information they claim Russia colluded into our nation was the truth? Did they interfere with an election by using the truth? Truth doesn't matter as much as it use to. If they did, then maybe we all should send them a thank you card, afterall that would be the curteous thing to do.

So the big Russian meddling accounted for about 250k in money and everyone has said it did little to influence anyone, today they found 30ish accounts that might or might not be Russian, but our democracy is "in the cross hairs" lol give me a break.

I hope as the OP suggests this bleeds over to tightening up vote period.

Just watching bits and pieces of the briefing from the heads of our FBI, Homeland Security, and Intelligence, points to a much larger initiative than focusing solely on foreign "meddlers" in our election process.

We have no time for facts, the Russians are upon us.

Maybe the people don’t want to believe this is happening. I’m not sure how best to describe it, but this seems like banana republic type stuff. The bigger story is definitely the domestic meddling, the collusion between party and media, and the shady dealings of the DOJ and “intelligence community”, which seems like it has been going on for decades.

I agree, and as we can see so much more is coming to light that if Hilary would have been elected.

Another BIG QUESTION..

The FBI/DOJ is attempting to stall Congressional investigators looking at crimes of the Obama Administration. They HOPE that Democrats will win control the Senate, and possibly the House in November.

WHAT IF ITS MORE THAN HOPE?

Could there still be enough deep-state Democrats in key positions, to (illegally) tip close Congressional elections over to the Democrat candidate?

Implement votes on a blockchain. Pretty simply really. Give every one eligible citizen an online 'ID' which can be used to cast and verify their vote. Utilize people's social security numbers to do so. The nodes could be a combo of private, government, and random peoples with a computer left online to run the network.

No ridiculous biometrics or other nonsense necesarry.

short of completely cutting American citizens contact with non citizens completely off for at least two years for every election cycle, there is actually no way to stop foreign interference in elections. that of course would mean cutting all American citizens access to the internet outside of the US. as well as cutting off all non citizens access to the internet inside the US. pretty much a duplicate of the great firewall of China. and remember you would still have to insure non US citizens (like illegal aliens, refugees, temporary workers and visitors) can not access the US's private internet from inside the country). which off course really means not letting them have any access to the internet. it would also be needed to cut off all telephone services into and out of the US. as well as anything form non internal US news sources. pretty much you would have to completely isolate all US citizens from any and all contact with all non US citizens.

we have only been hearing about the Russians trying to influence the election. done through a few memes and information release from them. yet they were far, far from the only foreign interference during the election cycle. i remember hearing many foreign nationals like politicians and past popular politicians from foreign governments. as well as foreign stars, rich people, and popular personalities ALL trying to influence the election. of course most of those we heard from were anti-Trump, so i guess they don't count? seriously there is absolutely no difference between memes and information about candidates, being passed around, or popular foreigners asking or begging not to vote for, or even to vote for anyone. and as far as i can tell there was a heck of a lot more don't vote for evil Trump from people being reported in the news and over the internet than things like pro-Trump memes and information about Hillary being passed around. and a live popular person trying to tell people who to vote for being broadcast and passed around as memes has a far more serious influence on people's opinions, than memes from unknown persons, or information released, that could be true, but then again could be false. which makes these foreign popular people speaking out a far more serious danger to elections than what Russia supposedly did.

so how do you stop all foreigners from influencing the election, without cutting off all contact? even talking to your mother or cousin that is a non US citizen will have more influence on people than what Russia supposedly did. a relative certainly has more influence than some unknown person, just as well known, and trusted/popular people speaking has far more influence than what Russia supposedly did.

BWAHAHAHA!!

Yea that is why he has kissed the guy doing it to us’s butt at every single chance..

The ridiculousness of pretending trump is just SOOOO upset that Russia keeps helping him win is just laughable..

It really does beg to question if people are really that ignorant Or if people are just trolling???

It has got to be trolling right???

Ha,Ha. You're funny. Putin has already colluded with the Democrats through Hillary to gain 20% of our Uranium. If anyone would be encouraged to win by Russians, it'd be the Democrats. Putin knows they are easily corrupted and therefore more easily controlled. Look Russia had Obama promising upon re-election he'd do more for them. Trump is the best play against the Russians. The globalists know this too, so why do you think they are using their media to stir up fake news with Trump and Russia?
