Isn't today's counterfeiting done digitally? This technology prevents kids without computers from counterfeiting.

I just scanned and printed a $20 bill with no problem on my crappy HP all-in-one.

Looks pretty good, too.

I would post but the site is saying I can't upload since I am using an ad blocker (which I am not).

I can help you just send me the real 20 and a few real 100 to test some different currencies and i will upload them for you.

Well, my wife works in a place where they cannot photocopy official documents, and attempting to do so sends an alert. The IT system also filters attached documents and will alert someone if these are found in emails. Won't tell you where she works, but have a guess.

On the money front. My home scanner won't scan money, well English cash at least.

Checks do not scan either.

Yes they do.
I scan every check I receive from customers and businesses.

My hp would not scan some checks i got from a financial firm.

Just the names and amount would print but none of the identifying marks would show up.

My point is that printers will not copy a blank check for you in a manner that translates all the proper marks for use.
