in my book a lie is where someone creates a false truth in their mind and espouses it to someone with the intention of deception

A lie is speaking a falsehood with the intention to deceive. The op claims to know Trump's intentions.

If he is so 4d bigly smart how come he can't say what he means?

Cult of personality is why

People don't often speak in exact legal terms like one mispoken or misplaced word will land them in jail, like politicians usually do. Most of us just talk like normal people, and the people around us can usually infer meaning enough that we don't have to explain things in exacting language. This is how we all talk this way to each other on a day to day basis with our friends and family, and you have no trouble understanding it.

If you're so 4d bigly smart how come you damage your credibility pretending this was a "lie" when you knew damn well what he meant?

I wasn't sure what your true intentions were with this thread then I read the last line, "Feel free to attack now".

I think you knew what he was getting at but continue with the fake outrage so you can feed on your daily dose of negativity.

I'm not outraged
I was very clear with my intentions

I said I wanted to discuss his lie and I wanted to see if people would deflect and defend.

Its been on the open the entire time.

It doesn't look like you know what a lie is either, so it is no surprise that you believe no one has ever used ID in a grocery store.

You're lying again.
I never said that

Just keep making # up. It's fine

Oh, someone has used ID in a grocery store? What were they doing? Were they buying something? What were they buying?

Yes people have used id in a grocery store

All you had to do was admit it. Admittance is the first step.

I have had to show my photo ID at least 3 times when purchasing something just in the last couple of weeks.
One time I was picking up something at a store that I had ordered on-line.
One time I was purchasing a gift card.
Another time I was purchasing medication.
This happens OFTEN.

And yes, I had to use a photo ID to get a discount card to use at my regular grocery store. And if using a check there, you need an ID. You need a photo ID to get a debit or credit bank card to use at a grocery.

Trump was not lying. I do not see how people can survive without a photo ID. You need it to open a bank account. You need it to purchase a car, insurance, many other things.

THAT was his point. People need a photo ID for many, many other things in the US. There is nothing wrong with requiring a photo ID to vote. Stop nit-picking and UNDERSTAND the point he was making. Think and use logic.

None of things you listed are protected constitutional rights.. the 24th amendment protects citizens from having to pay ANYTHING to vote... if you require ID to vote, you need to issue a FREE federal government identification card. No other way around it.

Saying you need id to buy groceries is not an exact legal term.

Most people simply say what they mean

Relax peeps it is just hyperbole.

Let me do some circles for you.

You need a valid identification in order to legally obtain cash or plastic.

You're lying too.
You do not need an id to legally obtain cash.

Can you guys ever tell the truth and stop spinning?

LOL

everyone who disagrees with you is a liar.

tell me how you legally obtain cash without an id...

unless you have a sugar daddy
So therefore any person without an I.D that has cash or a prepaid card is a criminal.

Who are these people you speak of?

Do they exist?

lol.. in the olden days, you could have a bank account without any picture id...
used to be a thing in schools, all of us kids would bring home the paper work and our parents would fill it out and we would have christmas savings plans. each week we could bring a little money to school and give it to the teacher to be deposited in our account and around christmas time, we could get our money to buy gifts for our families.

like I said, my mom never had a picture id and she had jobs, a bank account, ect.

I pray that you are not right.

I do think his desire to be liked by everyone negates your thought here.

I guarantee if you spoke mostly impromptu for over an hour there would be at least one thing in there that could be misinterpreted.

You've backed yourself into a corner where you have to pretend you're an idiot to support your baseless OP. Nobody here believes you're this stupid. Lay off the dishonesty okay?

You're being dense on purpose

You know it and I know it

In with silly now. 15 plus pages in and it's the same crowd with the same lies and deflection.

Point made I think.

Enjoy your circle jerk

Till next time

If you pay via credit card or debit card without using the PIN, a lot of stores ask to see a photo ID.

Who does that anymore??

Almost nobody.
