Cheney used to be CEO of Halliburton which got the rights to rebuild Iraq after the war.

It's almost a slap in the face how obvious it all is.

Iraq was "an important strategic interest."

For who? The Bush's, Cheney, the oil industry, the military industrial complex? Remember we invaded Iraq somehow based upon a link between Saddam Hussein and Iraq to the events of 9/11. We were than led to believe Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction.

The war in Iraq has only caused the increase in terrorism, created more enemies for the United States, and has caused a huge influx of Middle East immigrants throughout the world. Not to mentions the thousands of soldiers and innocent civilians who lost their lives!

...War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing!

...War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing! ( I agree but the powers that should not be; would in all likelyhood, agree that war is the best depopulation weapon there is.... at least until vaccines can be fully rolled out - check out the Report from Iron Mountain.

Russia could gain a lot of power by controlling Middle Eastern oil, until it dries up at least. It's dangerous to not go into countries and fight wars.

and that's the agenda that is being fought out in Syria at the moment and is also what Afghanistan was all about. So the US can use their economic and diplomatic wight and force Europe to buy all their oil from American owned ill from the mid east and at the same time starve Russia of oil and collapse their economy which means that both Russia and China go to war with the US and their slave states, or they surrender.
