This guy is a joke, he barely touched her and he does it in a covert way

How far in did he stick his finger, however briefly?

Yeah really.

A guy casually walks by, and just happens to grab her and gets whooped on.

And a security camera just happens to get the money shot.

Wow, that was not what I was going for. I was talking about his movement, keeping his arm close to his body, like he tried to make it look accidental or less obvious.
He wasn't like "reach out and touch.... somebodies butt, make this world a better place if you can"

Lol I was chatting about this with another ATS member, and she suggested that question to me. And from her perspective I can see that would make a massive difference to reaction from the young woman.

What? It looks like he accidentally and barely brushed her butt area with his hand.
It was a tight dining room.
He's going to make a million off of this. Mental Anguish, Punitive Damages.

Oh wait, yeah I'm watching it again.
He def grabbed butt.

IF it really did happen. Good for her.

Don't be surprised if it turns out to be another Terrorist written on a restaurant receipt.(Never happened).

The cops charged him though.
I don't know about the US but here in the UK the cops only 'charge' or refer a case to the Crown Prosecution Service if they are damned sure they can win the case. Police don't do the charging, they refer the case to the Crown which does that job.
I've been in police interviews saying 'You've got nothing mate and if you present this to the Crown they will laugh you out of the office' a few times. Released within a few hours with 'no further action' as it is called here.

Millions?
Wow, in the UK you can only really get compensated for material loss such as a ripped shirt, wages for time off work due to injury, and maybe lost earnings for 'mental anguish' but only if it was proven by medical professionals that such a condition prevented him from working again. He'd be laughed out of a UK court for that though generally.
US compensation culture seems nuts to me.
EDIT
He couldn't even claim for medical bills here as it's paid for by taxes, although some specialist private practices (Chiropractors etc) offer services licensed by the NHS which he would have to pay for if he used them. There is quite the scam black market of private practitioners though who write phony invoices for 'treatment' then split the money if the guy wins their claim in court.

I wonder, if the roles were reversed, would it be okay for a man to punch a woman in the face for pinching his bum?

They would say the man overreacted.
And I would wager he would be arrested.
People don't realize how man men are abused today in their relationships.

I believe that. I’ve witnessed more than a few “fights”, that were totally provoked by a belligerent female who was getting physical. Women can be just as sleezy as men when it comes to groping, but I think the instances are far less.

Some women think it’s ok to slap out a man and get physical simply because he wouldn’t dare fught back.

No she did the right thing. If she had kicked him in the mouth she would have deservingly gone to jail.

ok, i say again
after she shoved him she should have kicked him in the mouth

Well admittedly, a good kick in the teeth after the initial take down would have made for a far more entertaining youtube clip.

I don't see why it wouldn't have been legally justified either, poor girl felt threatened... Why shouldn't she have the right to knock a few of his teeth out, to ensure the threat was utilized?

You have a valid point. But so did the waitress. In the event that this creep does get an attorney that wants to sue, I have a feeling that he will have to first file charges against her for her actions. Kinda funny.

I wonder if her actions are covered by some sort of "stand your ground" law. Because I think she did the right thing.

I was at a concert, going home one day, and an older woman grabbed my ass and squeezed hard. She was much larger than I am, maybe by 80 pounds.

Should I have body-slammed the old git, you think?

If you feel differently about that situation as you do the OP story situation, why is it exactly?

That guy's groping was not appropriate. I do not think what she did was excessive. The sad part is that if the guy would have got hurt, he could have sued and probably would have won.

I would have liked to see her calmly walk to him, face him, grab his nuts and then squeeze HARD.

But what she did was good too. Don't think he will do that again.

Honestly I don't feel any sympathy for the guy but I do see an issue with glorifying such a violent reaction to what he did. She should be facing some sort of assault charges also imo. Had a women touched a man inappropriately and the guy responded by slamming her to the floor you can bet your bottom dollar that guy would be facing much more serious charges than the women. What if the guy had fallen on a sharp or solid object and cut an artery or broke his neck? The guy is clearly a scum bag but it's not like he's a mass murderer as far as we know, he doesn't deserve to be seriously harmed for an action which caused her no physical harm and maybe a little emotional harm.
