If those lies can be proven in court with irrefutable proof, then yes. If the feds ever worked him over they could tell, obfuscation is an admission of guilt IMO but evidence is the key-and as suspect as the Trump family are if their transgressions aren't proven in a court of law, they are free to walk.

I agree with you on that. Cohen may just be buttering up the FBI to decrease charges on himself as part of some deal. He already stated he will do what he needs to do to protect his family, he is included in his family.

I would bet that half the people in prison who are not guilty are there because of deals with someone who becomes a witness and walks away with very little to nothing.

No. He was under oath talking to congress. Plus he lied to the FBI too. Which as Michael Flynn and George Papadopoulos know...is a big no no.

UNLESS they have a tape of the meeting then they cant prove he lied to the FBI about who knew what and when.

But the FBI(and all law enforcement) does employ the tactic of using inane questions to catch you mis remembering something to get you for perjury. Its why you NEVER talk to any police or authorities without a lawyer to speak for you.

To be honest I rather see this total nonsense to stop now and country to focus on more pending REAL topics.

We all know, atleast those in the firm ground and senses, that there is nothing in the Trump campaign and around it, and this has been confirmed over and over again by all the parties. Rest is just chasing shadows and pure political mockery. And that needs to be put an end now.
