Stupefying hypocrisy – Founder of liberal hate group that harasses conservative sites now whines about being harassed after being outed.

Hmmmm. Does this guy have a reason to complain? He had his own tactics of
complaining used against him.

In 2016 a liberal hate group called Sleeping Giants popped up with the sole
goal to harass advertisers that showed ads on conservative websites until
they stopped advertising on those sites, quite literally sending mobs of
online liberals to flood advertisers in a smear campaign, falsely accusing
the conservative sites of “hate” and “bigotry.”

Oooops. The cat is out of the bag.

Daily Caller exposed the founder as “read the article", an award-winning ad
copywriter based in San Francisco. Yes, the man is an ad copywriter who
also organizes online mobs to harass advertisers like the ones he copy-writes
for.

This sounds rational.

Note– There is nothing wrong with remaining anonymous online, some do it
for safety purposes, some just because they like using certain user handles,
but when someone creates a group which deliberately organizes online mobs in
order to destroy the ability of others to earn a living, simply because they
disagree with their politics, especially a group that has been reported on
by major news outlets (Wapo), then the expectation of privacy via anonymity,
is no longer valid.

So there ya go ATS. What kind of person whines when their own tactics are used against them?

Anyone with the last name of Trump.

How successful were they in getting advertisers to stop advertising on those sites? That's the real question, otherwise the argument that they affected someone's ability to earn a living is hyperbole at best. Doesn't excuse what happened but Jesus Christ is the hyperbolic rhetoric getting old around here.

Could it have been a ruse to target competitors ads using the liberal angle as a smokescreen?

Shady business either way but with things of this nature i believe that rather than being a liberal/conservative behaving badly it generally comes down to the fact that some people suck, regardless of politics.

Blindly laying blame on "liberals" or "Trump" only benefits the puppet masters that benefit from all the division and hate(that in reality is non existent).

In the last several years otherwise good people have been conditioned/programmed to attack the "other" on the flimsiest of grounds, often rumour and supposition is sufficient enough to reinforce hateful stereotypes.

Skillfully manufactured echo chambers ensure that the programming is maintained and up to date.

This current paradigm of politically based division is not in any way normal or natural and the blind partisan cold war will continue to escalate if the participants refuse to resist their puppet masters and recognise they're being played.

Apologies for the long winded rant, ATS is fast becoming another ground zero for this rubbish and it needs to be called out.
***How can anyone hope to overcome the "deep state" if they can't see the manipulation that the same deep state use on them to keep them divided and distracted??***
Wake up!!

You don't have to read or respond if it is getting old to you. But you did anyway. Must not be getting that old to you.
