The above article (from 2013) needs to be read and shared everywhere so people can get it into their heads which way the planet is heading and how quickly or planet Earth is Fucxxx... excuse my language.

So much in the article to make you go... damn!

Population rise and the consumption which comes with it, is going to be the biggest problem. i'll just paste these figures here and you'll see what is going to happen in 100 years.

the worst thing we can continue to do – globally – is have children at the current rate. If the current global rate of reproduction continues, by the end of this century there will not be 10 billion of us. According to the United Nations, Zambia's population is projected to increase by 941% by the end of this century. The population of Nigeria is projected to grow by 349% – to 730 million people. Afghanistan by 242%. Democratic Republic of Congo 213%. Gambia by 242%. Guatemala by 369%. Iraq by 344%. Kenya by 284%. Liberia by 300%. Malawi by 741%. Mali by 408%. Niger by 766%. Somalia by 663%. Uganda by 396%. Yemen by 299%. Even the United States' population is projected to grow by 54% by 2100, from 315 million in 2012 to 478 million. I do just want to point out that if the current global rate of reproduction continues, by the end of this century there will not be 10 billion of us – there will be 28 billion of us.

Look at those figures and what Culture lives in these areas! And with the current influx of 'Economical Migrants' into Europe, you can assume that Europes population is also going to rise more than it would have done.

Can only assume there will be more floods, whirlwinds, tornados, famine, wildfires etc.. due to this massive change and population growth and consumption of materials!

28 Billion people if current trends continue.

I think that population explosions are handled by nature. It will be tragic, but nature will do what it needs to do and the people that are affected by its whim will either learn from it and adjust behavior accordingly or they will continue to see more suffering.

Not even the most ardent left wing pro immigration fanatic can help any of those people - and to be honest - they don't anyway. All care that is shown is really political expediency. Sooner or later it becomes such a burdensome farce that it is shed like the reptile skin that it is.

While flying at 10,000 feet I noticed that, other than cities, that buildings and homes are almost always jetting out of trees and there is plenty of room. There is alot of "unused" space. I have no idea how many of us can be supported, but there is still plenty of room.
And when it is economically feasible recycling-geothermal-solar will take on the main source of energy. Solving a ton of issues. I wish we didn't throw away anything-but right now we are still finding our way.

Meh. When I was growing up, it was predicted that global population would be over 10 billion by 2010. 8 years later weret still not even close to that. I wouldn't put too much faith in these projections.

I think you are closer to the truth in this regard. I would say that once all cultures accept birth control, and they will eventually, that our population will start decreasing dramatically.

I think you get the muslims to change their minds on women and so on and it could change dramatically within 2 generations. In most western as well as China and Japan, birth rates are so low that people can't even replace themselves.

Bad for real estate value and building booms....

Who knows? so much chaos in a human foot print.

The kicker with that is, the globalist are importing all of the heavy breeders into Western Society all the while supporting the Western world to support abortion with the reason not enough of the western women are breeding!!! Now I might not be the smartest apple in the bunch, but you see where I am going with this?

There actually is no nature, no mother earth, no damage to the planet as in we are not hurting or helping the planet etc etc.. These are all human constructs of something that is mindless. 28 million is stupid fear mongering, I don't even see 10 million. In many of these countries they have 10 births to have one or two survive to adulthood, so I guess they are assuming the birth rates would continue with a much higher success rate of surviving. They don't account for the fact that as countries modernize less babies are born. In a good number of modern countries they have zero and even negative population growth as kids become expensive and not just cheap labor.

Planet Earth has been around for a long time. It knows how to protect itself and is taking action to do so.

We have heard the same diatribe from the same actors who want to take action (money) but continue to do their own thing in private jets. As long as solutions don't effect them, they are fine, simple variation of not my back yard.

Florida and several other coastlines were supposed to be under water for the past 15 years according to some. Its time to face the real facts, humanity is the problem and humanity is the one in trouble not earth.

Humanity is as resilient as the Earth and both will survive only a bit differently and it won't take lining Al Gore's pockets with billions, but maybe just a little cleaning Earth style. Think of the dinosaurs and relax.

My prediction is a nasty flu virus will decimate these third world countries.

Man made or natural though?

On a side note, wasn't Fukushima supposed to kill us all by now or at least long before this prediction?

Yes, I am seriously beginning to believe that globalist support of "islam" is mainly because "islam" makes it easier to be involved in human slavery of all forms. Since the 1960's the "secret cult" has been feeling a little bit easier about being themselves but still need a helping hand and rich with oil, some middle eastern families are willing to buy into their nonsense.
Its all very weird how the uber rich interact. Sometimes I think its just pure boredom and knowing that you can just about get away with anything.

There is plenty of land on earth for everyone to live.
There is plenty of power for everyone. Solar
There is plenty of water for everyone. The sea/desalinization plants.
There is plenty of food. Start looking up how much food the world throws away daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

Population. There are several countries with an aging population. In several decades, they will have population decline.

Even if the earth's population doubled to 14 Billion in a few years, we would still have plenty of land, power, water, food for everyone.

There is no shortage of resources.

Try this short TED Talk for size. It's not entirely about 'space,' it's also about how many calories it takes to feed 7, 8 or 9 billion people. Then it's about the infrastructure to ferry enough of those calories around the world so people have enough and don't go hungry. Factor in geopolitical security so fertile agricultural regions aren't separated by neighbouring war zones. It takes stability to grow and transport food.

Places like India have massive agricultural potential, but they're short of water and they have neighbours in conflict. The UK has a temperate climate and a shortage of minerals needed to maintain a high rate of food production. Same for the USA. We're all collectively dependent on other countries for water, fertiliser and whatever else.

Migration is already a big problem in the world. Imagine a few years from now when people are migrating away from barren lands and towards greener pastures. The changes in global climate are bringing droughts and floods which are affecting the agro-economies of all of us. Time might come when Americans migrate away from the Mid-West and Europeans move towards to fertile areas in competition with Middle Eastern migrants chasing abundance and fleeing conflict...

If ever humanity needed to start getting along, this is now a good time to get going.

Yeah, I know you know this, but when you look at Puerto Rico or Haiti or anywhere we send aid, most of it sits and rots. We have the food to feed everyone. We/they lack the resources or will to get it to the people that need it.

In fact, most of aid sent to Africa (in either food or dollars) gets sucked up by warlords to feed their private armies while the general populace goes hungry.

I think it was back in the 30s or 40s that they said the planet could not feed more than 4 billion...
