In my forties now, but every time I go for a hair-cut, I wonder - shouldn't I rather let it grow again?
Not that I have much of a choice anyway.

Besides that only really looks hip when you're in your twenties.

But I still dream about it.
Sometimes wake up drenched in sweat, thinking: "Where's my hair"?

NO way dudereno

Short hair is like free air conditioning.

I break out in sweats when my hair gets over 1/4 inch on the sides and 1 inch on top.

Old people with long hair look homeless.

I'm 67 and haven't had my hair cut this year. Problem is it's so fine and breaks off easily but even though, it's getting pretty long.

No.

I've been shaving my head since I was 14. Having a shaved head is much more efficient.

Where I live, your user name is very apt for a shaved head.

Second.

No way, Jose.

Full on mullet when I was younger. Hey, it was the 80s! But now, not a chance.

There is no better time to grow hair long than when old and retired. No one cares about it if you do.

I Currently am. It is way too hot and a pain to maintain. Only reason I'm doing it is because last year at a cancer benefit thing, I auctioned off the chance to "hack off a hippies hair" that then gets donated for wig stuff.

Some mom that was sitting with her two kids, both with long hair won the bidding. $340 friggin dollars. Her insane smile while doing the deed was quite terrifying.

I think her kids got the point.

ETA: being 26 I guess I still fit the "hip" category you mentioned that can get away with it. Definitely wouldnt do it if i was one of you ol farts. Not for all of the dollars in the world.

Mother nature is hooking me up with permanent short hair, and I didn't even have to ask.

I grow my hair and beard long for the many cowboy movies shot here in Tamalewood.

www.bonanzacreekranch.com...

But it sometimes gets cut for TV roles, like "Better Call Saul" but they pay you to cut your hair and shave.

Oh the pain!

Going to metal-night, and headbanging for hours, and the next morning you got to get all those knots out of your hair.

It was a mission, and at one point I said, "Dear hair, I'm very attached to you - but I must bury you in the sky, alongside my foreskin".

Dude, it's never coming back.

Had long hair from age 21-32yo.

Got a job where long hair was frowned upon. By that time I could sit on it.

Like a complete sucker I had it cut. Missed it for years . Started growing it again in 2015. Halfway down my back again.

So in reply. Yes of course I would grow it again lol. I'm 46 now and at least 50% of it is grey. But I'm well past giving a monkeys about what other people think of the way I look.

Here's to growing old disgracefully! !!!!

I grow mine long.. have to, to hide my ever increasing bald spot.

Shaving it all off isnt an option - back of me head looks like a ducks bum

What were you thinking about?
Maybe something along the lines of business in the front, party in the back?
A Kentucky waterfall of sorts?

If so, I believe The mullet is an excellent example of a gender neutral haircut
And fully support your decision.
