I like the artificial look of some of these things, but I really have a hard time accepting that they're actual artifacts created by some kind of
intelligent creature. I think that mostly because they're usually so odd and scattered, and there's no reason why some of these particular
"artifacts" would survive millions (billions?) of years, while other larger and supposedly more durable object didn't. For instance, why don't we
find the foundations of houses or buildings or other large structures? Because they're buried, and these little trinkets were not? There's no
obvious infrastructure remains.
They're interesting, but not proof of any kind of larger, more intelligent creatures on Mars. And I've been looking at this stuff for years now.
Nothing is ever definitive.
