Thought this was about that fukishima disaster.

It seems to be heating up all over the planet. Not sure if this is just a cycle or it's to do with the Industrial and Tech age.

I do know that here in England, we havn't had a Summer like this for over 30 years. Just saw on the news that Greece is having some of it's worst wildfires ever with 60 people dying and may more injured.

What's the situation in England? Is it worse than summer of 2003? It was miserable that year.

By 'worse', do you mean in 'temperature' wise? Well, we've had a good many weeks of Sun and temps in the high 20's to 30's going up to mid 30's this week and possibly reach 37 or so. Some fires did break out on grassland.

Yes, I meant the high temps. Just looked it up and came across this:

Maximum temperatures

The UK record of 37.1 °C at Cheltenham on 3 August 1990 was beaten by a number of stations on 10 August 2003, with Brogdale, near Faversham (Kent) reporting the highest at 38.5 °C.

Nothing like a bit of doom porn! just because it's slightly hotter than usual people fail to take that into account, hence people fainting in the heat etc..
In the UK we have just had an amber weather warning ( amber weather warning, what the hell is that. something they just made up) not to go out in the 32 degree heat. WWHHAAAATTT!!!
I've just come back from Spain where it was in the high 30s. NO bother there, Spanish about as normal. OK I seriously needed the aircon in my room but come on use your intelligence.
As for the UK heatwave the MSM is all over it. Crops failing through lack of water, London parks grass going brown through lack of water.
THE REALITY:- All over the UK you cannot walk a few miles without falling into running water. But just because the water companies (who run the sewage plants) use these water courses to dump supposedly treated human excrement into them and ruins them for human consumption that is not my fault and they should be stopped.
Oh the sob story of the London parks, for heavens sake the Thames flows through London slipping millions of gallons of water into the sea every hour. I'll leave the rest of that sentence because it hurts my brain at their stupidity.

Where did you get that idea from? There is a trend to the polar caps reducing in size, but I've never seen 2018 as the date for metled polar caps. Unless you watch bad movies like The day after tomorrow that is.

Hmm, I wonder, have Trump and his associate's by any chance been investing in worthless real estate that would sit on a future coast line, ha could not resist the superman analogy, Lex Luthor, Trump's got more hair though and does seem to care about his people even if he riles half of them up the wrong way.

Japan's birth rate has declined more than most civilized countries. I have seen estimates of 1/3 decline. Men and women are not chasing each other like in the old days.

Then if you watch some of the videos about the sex dolls used in Japan and the guys/gals buying and living with them the 100 year estimate might come true but not for the stated reason. youtu.be...

That is a sad legacy of the modern era, there are kid's in Japan whom can not be turned on by real girl's but actually find CGI characters far more attractive never mind the sex doll's.

I wonder though could something have been introduced to there diet, water or cosmetic's like I suspect occurred in the west and if so could an opposite compound be synthesized and introduced to try to reverse this damage to the gene pool.

We don't know global warming is real and we especially don't know that it's anthropogenic.

Ducking retards can't even read all you have to do is look at failed predictions and the emails from the dip shots that were fudging data.

What I don't understand is with all the heat these days, mean average ice, of all sorts, is on the increase, so says my news outlets direct into my inbox, as for heat waves, there was one in 1944 when I was born, another in the sixties I think, one in 76, now this one in 2018, no discern able pattern yet though.

Some of the articles I have read blames everything on WIFI radiation.. If any of that is true I would expect it to get much worse.....?

I have been to Japan many times and they have some really neat people there. It may come down to economics about as much as anything as far as the birth rates go. Anyone's guess at this stage is about as good as another..

it all started with unisex clothing in the 70's and then the plastics in the water supply and then in the milk and cheese here.

I lived through the 76 heat wave, beautiful summer and the sun while warm was gentle, the sun today is hot and itches and burn's really fast, probably too much UV getting through as well which also will have an adverse affect upon the natural balance since that too will harm plant's.

They are very smart. I'm sure they'll find a way to prevail.

Geeze, 41? That must be really hot! (Does some quick converting..) Wait a second, that's not that hot. Here in Texas it was 114 (45.5) last week. I spent the whole day stacking and mortaring 50lb rocks. The week before was spent cutting, raking, and baling hay in 110(43.3) weather. We just up our water intake and everybody's fine. What the hell are yall complaining about? It's summer, it's supposed to be hot.

I would think the radiation from Fukushima would have killed anyone foolish enough to still be living there by then anyway.

Nobody uses real tobiko anymore (flying fish roe eggs). Other fish eggs are dyed. It is a texture thing so why not charge pale-face money for the fake stuff?? Actually, since Fuku, everybody is shying away from Japanese sourced fish. And they plan on dumping irradiated water that they are still (actually, they never stopped!) dumping on the exposed cores. Would you eat tritiated raw fish flesh or eggs??

Lots of saki is made in the US (thank you franchises! Same with soy sauce. PS - Get the fermented ones like Yamasa to really treat yourself!)

The race is on to use graphene to filter the sea water and Tepco to dump. And us Pacific dwellers wait. Bastids.

I like your thinking, Labtech. But you don't have to move to the Poles to escape the heat.

Vermont and Maine will be cool enough. Unless you're willing to move to Canada, then I suggest the Maritimes.
