Anyone got any film suggestions? British films would be cool, you know where cars don't explode when they crash like US ones and people don't get knocked out with one punch.
Here's a suggestion, Dog Soldiers, it's a comedy horror and this scene sums up Brits with their back to the wall, soldier is out of ammo and basically fights the werewolves with pots and pans lol...

Like Dog Soldiers.

Nice one, just had a search, he's made loads, I only knew This is England.

I love Brit flicks because they are more gritty and real, less special effects more acting.
I've got nothing against exploding cars and people dying with a single stab to the stomach but it ain't real though, in Brit films people writhe on the floor in agony for ages and our cars are less of an explosion risk lol

Wish I could join in but I gotta go mow a half-acre of too tall grass, I refer to as High Test.
First day in 3 weeks its NOT raining.

Love your breakfast picture. Havent had a breakfast like that in ages. Unfortunately, there isnt a single restaurant in the area that serves breakfast. I guess West Texans dont do breakfast.

Ahhh, I miss those English breakfast sausage I think you call "bangers". Used to have a friend from England who would periodically bring back a box of them for me, for a price of course.

He owned a bar for a bit that I would hang at after work. Unfortunately his wife caught him banging the bar bit#h and forced him to sell the bar. I dont know what the big deal was; every one in that bar had turns with her after buying her a few Margaritas. Wife forced him to go back to his job with British telecom company that summarily dispatched him to Iraq for a few years. Havent heard from him since, poor bugger.

Have a great day.......off to tame the Hight Test.

Cool stories man

Welcome to the cafe, always a cooked breakfast going on here, place to forget silly arguments and stuff, just chill n chat.

Call me uneducated but my image of Texas has always been like desert cowboy movies, I never imagined grass growing there lol
Pop back when you're done mowing and stick a Texan tune on the jukebox.

I never knew the mighty bearded ones were from Texas.
I'm still watching Psychomania lol, they made the stone circle for the film can you believe it, what a waste of money when there are like millions of free ones to film at.

@LightSpeedDriver Cheers for the links

Glad you like it. It has a real 70's vibe. Man. God only knows what the toad thing is all about.

ZZ Top formed in Houston, Texas. I think the drummer and the bass player are probably one of if not the best rhythm sections going.

I can't figure the toad thing out either. We've had an exploding lorry though lol, and I'm loving the 70's long boots and short dresses on the girls.

One of my Dad's favourites....74 years old and still loves rocking to ZZ Top, Free, Thin Lizzy etc and lately has become a Dylan convert. I can't weigh the last one up.....overrated.

I've read that the members of ZZ Top started in 60's garage bands.

Here's one of the very best, and they were from Texas;

Roky Erickson was the lead singer of the Elevators - pretty far out, man! By coincidence, in 2008 he was presented with a lifetime achievement award....by Billy Gibbons.

Dylan, never been able to get into him, either.

Yes, with a side of gluttony, by the sounds of it! Mind you, I feel hungry now.

Bacon roll with marmalade and a cup of builder's tea, 2 sugars, please.

Welcome to the cafe, and it counts as banter if they were big macs not the skinny arsed 99 pence cheeseburgers
