You know something you seldom see discussed? The complete, even perfect, veracity of the Bible account of Jesus Christ, of all the witnesses involved, the sequence of events, even the testimony of the Lord's enemies: the account would easily hold up in a court of law as reliable testimony, from very many witnesses, all the forensics and psychological elements you find in truth, to the smallest details. Nobody could even create a fiction with such perfect consciousness of truth from the most reliable witnesses, ever, that would even die for what they witnessed.

Jesus Christ rose form the dead, the testimony of those of truth, those best witnesses of all that walked with Christ, and, in fact, Christ ascending into heaven, before their eyes. If Jesus Christ had not risen from the dead, as a matter of fact, the Christian faith would have died right there, with Him, be an historical footnote of some whackjob cult. The only issue is whether you choose to believe all the devil's lies, to the contrary of those most reliable witnesses, even people of absolute truth as a belief, who believed and still believe all liars go to hell, as a matter of fact, a basic tenant of the Christian faith. Otherwise, there's already proof of life after death, in your face, from the people that were there. Read the gospel of John, and there's no way it cannot be truth, add to it that no man has ever spoken with such wisdom, knowledge of the spiritual world and truth as Jesus Christ, that can ONLY be the mind of God.

Clearly there is nothing suspicious at all about any of the things you said and that is why you posted it on a conspiracy website where everything is subject to skepticism and investigation. The irony here cannot be overstated.

Perhaps there is only one soul (god) and biological life and consciousness are perturbations or chaotic states in its overall uniformity.

I think it's odd that an atheist can look at
a ferrari and not argue against it's design
or its designers existence.

Yet they can look at this universe all the
way down to the information stored in
the genome. And deny its design and its
everlasting to everlasting designer.

The evidence that atheism rejects as
evidence fills the universe. Frankly i think
its lunacy.

Thats like saying there is no such thing as wind..its all invisible angels..your proof is showing a dung beetle pushing something, therefore concluding that all things are pushed by a living entity and not just natural occurrences (wind).

Each and every one of the people in the video in the OP is an entertainer who is tickling the ears of their audience (telling them what they want to hear, what intrigues them, what captivates their attention, what entertains them).

Lots of people tend to flock to these types that are catering to the market while pretending to take a supposed "scientific" or knowledgeable approach to the question. Which is predicted at 2 Timothy 4:3,4.

It's only appropiate for an entertainer and actor like John Cleese to moderate such a self-glorifying (and mutual marketing) presentation.

Followers of nearly all major religions believe that the human soul is immortal. So no surprise what they're arguing for and who they are catering to.

A Puzzling Question—Is There Life After Death?

VIEWS about life and death are many and varied. Some feel that after death they will live on, perhaps in another form or in another place. Others feel that they will be reborn to live another existence. Still others think that death simply ends it all.

You may have your own belief on the subject, depending on your upbringing or cultural background. Since opinions as to what happens at death differ so widely, is there someone or somewhere we can turn to for reliable and truthful answers to this puzzling question?

For centuries, religious leaders have taught the doctrine of the immortality of the human soul. Followers of nearly all major religions—Christians, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, and others—believe in the existence of an immortal soul, which is said to survive the death of the body and live on in the spirit realm. Buddhists, on the other hand, believe that by way of countless rebirths, the force, or mental energy, within a person can reach a blissful state called Nirvana.
On account of such teachings, the majority of people around the world have come to believe that death opens the door to life in another world. To many, death is therefore an important step in the cycle of life, and dying appears to them to be part of God’s will. But what does the Bible say about the matter? Please read the following article. The answer may surprise you.

What the Bible Says About Life and Death

i think its odd that people keep comparing this cold, vacant, wildly hostile universe to a sports car (a primitive invention that is definitive proof of our infancy as both a species and a world, they still run on fossil fuels and require solid ground to roll on for crying out loud). the illusion of design is the mortal enemy of the lonely mind, ask any former intelligence operative. here is an idea: travel outside of our solar system and see if you can find your afterlife among the constellations. send us a map if you do.

A lot of good points in this thread...TBH, there are people (including myself) that know more than the "average" person in regards to this subject.
The mind is definitely separate from the brain, and the mind is part of the higher self, or soul. We do not need our body once we leave this dimension, and can see and communicate without it. The body is just a vessel for this reality and once you have learned your lessons here or are called back, then you leave the body, but keep your higher self/soul. Energy is neither created or destroyed, so we as a higher self/soul will live for eternity.
My experience has been with seeing behind the curtain of this reality. There is definitely a Source and a collective consciousness, We (and everything around us) are just atoms/energy vibrating. All we as humans are doing is tuning into specific frequencies and can only interact with specific bandwidths. Basically, we can't fathom like 96% of all matter in the Universe. I can tell you without a doubt that everything (and I mean everything) is aware and conscious. Not the same consciousness like a human beings' mind, but aware. That is why observer/observed happens. It's like a stage show where everyone and everything plays a part in the stage show. Once you see what's really going on behind this "reality" that we are supposedly in, you see it's not reality at all. It's extremely difficult to explain to anyone that has not experienced it, and is also difficult trying to explain it to my own self.
