Well said.
Realistically, they won’t be prosecuted. But Mueller wouldn’t be doing the job he’s been assigned to do if he didn’t run every lead to the ground, uncover every rock, and act within his mandate—bring indictments, hand off cases, and ultimately issue a complete report of his findings to the DAG.

Even if those GRU operatives aren’t brought to justice, the official indictment and record of facts, evidence, and events does serve a valuable purpose. It needs to be done.

I think you’re correct: the same folks who don’t believe the intel community won’t believe this, but he should do it anyway. We can’t and shouldn’t look the other way.

Whether or not this is the final ring to fall in place remains to be seen.
It may be the end of it, and if so, I’ll be satisfied.

All true in regards to 2016 but now it is about Trump and the republicans NOT doing anything about future elections.

Clapper earned my respect today. I bet this is a hard thing to do. He did the right thing and for that I thank him.

You should really read the thread, it's a fake story.

Wait, your volleyball required reassignment surgery?!

They don't call it reassignment surgery anymore. They call it confirmation surgery because the volleyball was always really a football.

I kid you not.

P.S. I hope Omama and Killery get to share a cell.

Republicans block bid to extend election security grants

The GOP-controlled House on Thursday eliminated new funding for states to strengthen election security, drawing protests from Democrats who said Republicans are not doing enough to prevent Russian meddling

House Republicans on Thursday morning thwarted a Democratic effort to add new funding for election security measures — opening the party up to yet more criticism in the wake of President Donald Trump’s controversial meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Plenty of more sources out there confirming this. Come back when you got soemthing about that.

It's not about securing the election, it's just about making sure they win it. Voter ID laws won't help them win elections.

That vote was a political stunt. The reason they blocked that measure was because there's already a ton of money sitting out there for the states to use for this that they're not using.

See here

You got tricked by a meaningless vote to make it look like Republicans don't want to secure the election, when the funds to do that have already been passed.

Wherever you get your news obviously didn't tell you this. Maybe time to reconsider where you get your info, they're purposefully misinforming you.

Political stunt or not, they got the republicans on record going against more security measures for future elections.

They used a republican trick to catch them, bring up pointless things in order for the other side to vote or be against.

They got people to think Republicans don't want to secure the election, sucks for the republicans to use their own tactics against them.

...and your a GD liar.

Re-read your damned link, an admendment by Dems was defeated, HOWEVER,

"The House approved the overall spending bill, 217-199. It includes nearly $59 billion for the Interior Department, Environmental Protection Agency and Treasury Department."

The Dems aren't in power and rightfully so. There admendment wouldn't have done nothing but excess pork.

Sorry, keep your filthy paws out the cookie jar.

They did no such thing. They got the Republicans on record voting down a stunt waste of money. The security measures are already funded and the states aren't even using all the money that's already been allocated. Would you approve allocating more money to the Pentagon, even if they already had money left over that they hadn't used, and anyone who voted against this was labeled as "going against national security and protecting Americans"?

Don't be intentionally ignorant. You backed yourself into a corner by being uninformed. You've since been informed, and the only way you can hold on to your false narrative is to pretend to be stupid. I know you're not that stupid. You got tricked. Happens to the best of us.

A bunch of people indicted and facing trial or plea deals, some are in jail, and you still call it a 'witch hunt.'

I don't care who goes to jail - Democrats or Republicans - as long as wrongdoing is punished. That you don't care about that, and instead want to demean an investigation simply because it's looking at 'your side' is absurd.

The people you are talking about are not in jail/plea deal etc for Russian collusion. They are there because of whatever the FBI could find in any direction on them. Once an investigation starts anything is game. Much like Clinton that went from a land sale scam to sperm on a blue dress.

And you have a problem with this?
