Claim I'm projecting what exactly? If you think the 'others' are guilty of something, there's a wealth of evidence to show that in a disproportionately high number of cases the accuser suffers from the same effects they are decrying.

The point is, I warned him about the cult mentality because he's displaying telltale signs of it, excusing egregious behavior, discrediting victims, etc. You suggested I have a cult mentality based solely on the fact that sometimes people who accuse people of stuff are actually guilty of it themselves, with no indication that that's actually the case here.

Can I go around calling people I disagree with liars with no evidence and back it up with "well, I mean, studies show sometimes people lie"?
