"rightwing outlets" ?? haha
You did see the link to CNN as a source in that original post?
In fact, there are many articles around that time from many news sources.
If you were paying attention at the time, you might have noticed it was quite a hot topic in the news for a while.

Neither article said it was only a fund used by Democrats. And I never implied that.
In fact H.R.4494 - Congressional Accountability and Hush Fund Elimination Act, although sponsored by a Republican, has 103 Cosponsors - 76 Republicans and 26 Democrats.
Both parties want to end the use of taxpayer money for this purpose.

You might as well give up, because your accusations are silly.

If you are still having difficulty comprehending the hypocrisy that I was talking about in my original post...

If Trump made a payment - with his own money, it was for a consensual relationship with a woman who then wanted money or she would tell the world.
Meanwhile, Congress is making regular payments using OUR tax money to pay off settlements to women whom they sexually harass.

When you compare the two, Congress really has no moral superiority to come down on Trump for this.

The hypocrisy is why.

It was either him or Clinton if that explains it for you.

Clinton's adultery was roundly condemned by both sides. Furthermore, he wasn't ironically backed by the general Christian demographic.

Hint: Wrong Clinton. Bill wasn't running. It was either Donald or Hilary.

I thought you were referring to the hypocrisy of Christians backing an adulterous liar. Which is what I was talking about and you responded to that.

What does any of this have to do with Hillary? Are you saying the church had to endorse one of the two of them? Because they really didn't. I can't imagine a genuinely-honest Christian endorsing Trump, period. I imagine any honest Christians simply didn't vote. The church was playing politics and, for once, they have zero chance of ever justifying it. They have forever marked themselves as disingenuous prophets of sleezebaggery.

Rrrrriiiiiiight. Either Trump or a psychopathic killer. hmmm. who would I vote for.....hmmmmmm. Yeah. lol. Justifying in politics. Well at least we know why they voted for him.

To kill someone or pay for their silence.

Who was killed for their silence? Come out with it.

You don't believe anyone was ever killed so they couldn't tell something on someone? Ever?

I asked the question first. So you answer first. Which is better?

In addition to H.R.4494 - Congressional Accountability and Hush Fund Elimination Act, there is also this one:

H.R.4540 To amend the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to require Members of Congress to reimburse the Treasury for amounts paid as awards and settlements under the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 in connection with violations of such Act which were committed personally by the Members, to prohibit the imposition of nondisclosure agreements as a condition of the payment of an award or settlement in connection with a violation of such Act, and for other purposes.

That sounds fair. They want Congress to pay back what has been paid out for these actions - retroactively.
This one has one Republican sponsor and ZERO Consponsors.
Somehow, I doubt Congress is going to approve this one. Quite a few of them would need to pay back millions of dollars.

That doesnt stop it from being a campaign contribution. Nor does it change the fact that it wasnt reported.

Campaign contributions are paid TO a candidate's campaign.

Aren't you SICK of his lies? And no, I'm not talking about "all politicians" or Clinton, or Obama, or Putin, or anybody else.
I'm talking about this Trump snake. Lying is not just habitual with him, meaning it's a habit, it's PATHOLOGICAL. Meaning, it's a sickness.
You know it, I know it, everybody knows it; it irks me to no end, and I don't understand how you can stomach it!

*vomit emo* (At lies, not you.)

You can call it lies that make you sick, or you can call it over exaggerating as a showman makes a point. As much as his "lies" make you sick how many put us in two wars that have lasted 17 years, how many of them cost 1000s of American lives, 10,000s of Americans with totally screwed up lives due to injuries. How many lives cost the tax payer trillions, how many screwed over 100 million on their healthcare. How many lies killed Americans without due process, put guns in criminal hands that killed Americans...so on and so on...I can go on for another few more paragraphs, so what ya think about Trump snake compared to all this and more?

Can you name Trump's worst lie?

A fine at worst case scenario if even true. It was a legally binding confidentiality agreement between two private parties. The campaign funds angle is a fabricated narrative that the bald porn lawyer youve been watching everyday on CNN has been peddling. The conversation is seen as exculpatory evidence that bolsters the defense that would arguably be attorney client privilege. Then somehow impeachment is factored in somewhere?

Oh yeaa Bill.... he's definitely not as classy as Trump plowing porn stars during and right after his wife's pregnancy. Happily plowing porn stars while his wife is at home with his infant son. No.... no certainly not as classy.

Look.... maybe Melania didn't mind so much. I mean the guy looks almost identicle to her father for petes sakes! They are around the same age after all.

Maybe she set it up as a present? Bill screwed everything his whole marriage and Hillary didn't care until he got caught. Has the left gone all religious proper since Trump has become president...lol give me a break.

You have so much in your post it is almost sickening the level you seem to go with it. You thumping people with a bible too...Lol

I asked the question first.

That you most certainly did. You asked why we're so focused on Trump's infidelity while the other side of the fence pushed somebody to suicide. I asked you for a source for that claim. If you're going to make comparisons of events, you best have a source, so where is it? Who was pushed to suicide?

Get on with it.

The heavily pregnant Melania arranged for Trump to plow a bunch of porn stars as a gift. This is a logical explanation to you? You.... you want to stick by this explanation?

Remember when they raided cohen's offices and everyone on the right said they were doing this so they could steal and leak privileged information (since it wouldn't be allowed in court, since it's privileged) and everyone on the left assured us they would be just as outraged if this were the case and assured us that it wasn't? Guess what, the right was right, the left was wrong (and lied).

The only appropriate response to this is to ignore it. The government is stomping all over attorney client privilege and you're cheering them on. Sick.

Yes I do. That was a great day. I remember laughing my ass off.... at the fact this actually happened. Like out of the blue. It was great.

I kind of feel sorry for Cohen. Jesus he's been left to the wolves. I don't blame him for recording and keeping 'insurance' in his dealings with Trump. Smart move.

My point is we do not know, so do you for one minute think Hillary didn't know Bill was fing everything in sight their whole marriage. I lived in Little Rock back then, I know old Bill well with his wild side.

How many is a bunch 1, 5, 10, 100? I think whatever it was is between Melania and him. Kennedy was screwing around too, along as many others, so once again who cares...why is it only Trump with you...lol

One interesting point is these other Presidents did all their stuff while being President, and with Trump people are trying so hard, spending 10s of millions to bring up anything at all in his life BEFORE he was President.

You see no difference there?

I've never seen so much outrage about a bunch of lies that have had no appreciable impact on the public. At least with clinton, he lied while under oath and was diddling interns while in the whitehouse. They're mad that trump lied during the campaign about his sexual history (and actually, I don't recall him ever denying he had affairs, so where is the lie?) as if that has any impact on his progress as president. I'll be just as mad if trump perjures himself as I was that bill did, as I am that clapper comey and brennan have.

That's about the kind of response I expect from you. Don't feel too bad for cohen though, he's pretty much immune from any real legal action and will likely make millions from tax payers because of the corruption of Mueller.
