So # you for presuming you know where I'm coming from.

Yeah, there's a response that tracks with the argument you don't suffer from blind hatred.

lol

More substantively, it's total projection and hypocrisy.

Let me clue you in on something. I have never 'liked' Trump... and there is much to criticize. But the nut job resistance has missed one of the greatest opportunities in history.

The resistance could have acted like the adults in the room. They should have held the DNC to account for their issues, while they were holding this administration to account for its actions.

That strategy would have been far more effective at winning the hearts and minds of those not entirely aligned with the left. The resistance could have focused all of their intensity on what Trump actually does...NOT melting down for every syllable out of his mouth...and most certainly NOT the purely fabricated imaginings of what he *might* do. I won't even bother to mention all of the distortions and lies made about what he 'said' or secretly 'believes'.

But even worse, the resistance declared war not just against a political leader, but nearly half of their fellow Americans.

No longer are we a nation of 'live and let live'.

The resistance has abandoned the first amendment. The resistance has abandoned the fourth amendment.

But even worse, the resistance has abandoned what it even means to be a sovereign nation.

Any opposition is alt, extreme, racist, mysogeny, homophobic, islamophobic, etc...

Now I realize not everyone on the left has lost their mind. I'm married to a liberal. My best friend is a socialist. My uncle was a communist. My sister-in-law is a Muslim. My mother is an immigrant. None of these people have lost their minds... and yes, I'm conservative. My life is the definition of diversity.

Loving people see past their differences.

Returning to Trump. The left had its best chance for a bipartisan President than at any time before in my lifetime. I mean let's face it. He's not a Dick Cheney Republican. The left keeps saying how ego driven Trump is and how he needs to be liked, but then do nothing to use that to their advantage.

Trump's base is growing. And if you think otherwise, you're as clueless as many were the day before the election. As vulgar, crass, deceitful or blunderous Trump might be, the left has made HIM look like the adult in the room.

Imagine that.

Now what was it you were saying about presuming to know?

Right. So, the best I can do here is say:

My post is just another liberal post because I hate Trump.

Except I'm not a liberal and have never voted such. I've voted Independent and, once, Libertarian. (I'm 39).

But we can just write it off as another liberal hate rag. No points made...except Trump "bowed" to Putin. Remember Obama bowing? Pissed us all off? Yes, me too....Well, Trump bowed...than he turned around.

That's all...man...

I'm fed up. I'd love to talk all of you. It's impossible now. Save a few, and thanks those.

I'll still be around but my thread is dead...it's not pro Trump.

I feel you. I voted for Harry Browne in 2000, Badnarik in 2004, and wrote in Ron Paul in 08 and 12. I abstained against the garbage in 2016.

If you don't support Trump you're for the Deep State. Clearly. It's such a joke.

I hate to do this, and I don't know how to cross-quote properly but I think it's relevant:

ChalesT said:

Liberal progressives are emotionally unstable where conservative logic is grounded reality rather than uncontrollable emotion.

Which I feel resonates with your reply to PistolPete.

You say such how not all liberals have lost their minds...you know liberals, are married to one, etc. But give no examples of the extreme right. And I don't mean the Nazi label.

It's as if there is war, by liberals, against ALL of the right.

But it is all just extremes, that's we all have...and so few of us are...so VERY FEW...

...I don't know...I don't have the answers and it's getting late...

I'm glad you have a voice, it makes sense.

Yawn

Glad you can contribute some breath, if not anything worthwhile.

The entire OP is worthless. It's just the same tired "I hate Trump" nonsense.

I was just following your lead.

Again, good breathing exercise....the same old in-out, in-out...loam had a good response...start there...

HA! Good response alright! HA! I think you should just #WalkAway from this one bud.

Did I presume to know anything about you? You first told me I had blind hatred. I explained to you why I didn't care for the guy for reasons that's covered multiple decades.

And then of course, you, as a credible conservative, have an ethnic parade running around your kitchen every weekend.

Because for some reason the family of every Trump supporter is full of immigrants and minorities.

Blind idol worship makes all of you silly #ers suck at life itself.

As does blind hatred.

My "hatred" isn't blind. I've never liked Donald Trump. When he was cheating on Ivana with Marla Maples my parents were going through some things and my mother hated him for his infidelities. I specifically remember a car trip passing through Syracuse, NY when a story on the radio about him incited a fight that I had no way of getting away from. I followed his career afterwards.

His multiple business failures that cost real people a lot of money and only enriched himself continued through the nineties and early aughts.

He's a terrible human being and watching you people treat him like he's ordained by the lord is disgusting.

So # you for presuming you know where I'm coming from.

Awww did Trump hurt yer wittle feelings buttercup? I didn't vote for Trump to be a holy man. I'm sure that there have been plenty of people that you have worked with in public that cheat on their wives, steal, or do other immoral things that you had no idea about.

I couldn't give a damn if Trump cheated on his wife or was a cut throat business man. I only care about the results he is able to produce as a president and so far Im happy with how things are going. Unemployment record low, economy, strong borders etc etc

If I had my choice between two mechanics to work on my broken down car and one was a moral upstanding faithful husband but was a $Hit mechanic and the other was a cheating slimeball but could fix a car with his eyes closed I know which mechanic is working on my car.

BTW pump your little brakes saying fck you to people who did not insult you first. You dont wanna come off as being a terrible human being like Trump do you?

PS Its nice Rand Paul is siding with Trump huh?

You dug up a thread from 2011, this is 2018.

You are pulling history and his opinion in 2011, this is 2018.

In 2011, Trump wasn't even on the political radar. Did I mention this is 2018?

In 2016, Trump got elected, Admitted, in 2018 now voices their opinion on Trump. It's funny how opinions can change because of current or past events, it's like people move on or something ya know.

I'll break it down. What Admitted said in 2011 for that current time has nothing to do with what he said here. Optimism was much higher for Obama than Trump.

Who knows why leftists can't bring themselves to support the seperation of children from their mothers. Or the privatized war in Afghanistan, bombs in Jemen and tax-cuts for the rich. Who needs affordable healthcare for everyone anyway!

Bipartisan is the new terminology for the dark side or what?

What is it with you folks and your fixation on "Leaders" anyway? Was there any President after Bush that didn't act like a shill for the MICes? Why would you expect something different now, mere hope for a change? Yes we can!

He didn’t interfere in the election. That’s a common misnomer, The elections were not compromised. He is alleged to have interfered in the DNC and John Podesta’s emails.

Other than that, good mud pit thread. I would suggest dropping a little more scorn on your foes.

I realize there are umpteen pages between the OP and this. Lots of discussion in between.

Maybe you can help me understand. Diplomatic dog-n-pony shows between world leaders have ALWAYS been two faced. Their discussions in private and the yada-yada they drag out to the press. This is not new. Why do some people get worked up over this fact now? I mean other than it's Trump and Putin.

Governments have always and continue to influence foreign elections. Again. not new. For example, Trump's predecessor actually helped fuel military conflict in Ukraine for the same reason. A lot of people died. Yet, no where in the latest hysteria does this get mentioned.

The ME is rife with US interference. For decades. Putin stepped in to secure his countries national interests and all of a sudden WWIII is looming on the horizon. Does that not sound a bit contrived?

Does it surprise anyone there might be foreign interference in US politics? And really, a dozen low level Russian operatives making crappy memes torpedoed 240+ years of America?

Looking in from the outside, all I can deduce is a large group of people aghast and hyperbolic at that which has been common place for decades. Now we need to put everything on hold and 'get to the bottom' of that which is bottomless. How seriously can that group be taken?

Had anybody else besides Trump become President under the same circumstances, would this group of people be going through the same emotional melt down? The secret is all the Presidents have been elected under the same circumstances. Where was the 24/7 outrage?

Superficial bullcrap....
HRC = NWO
TRUMP = anti NWO
PUTIN = anti NWO
If you can't see the alignment as it relates to back door dealings then you're misguided. Those against Russia are trying cut the president off at the knees to avoid getting their NWO ASSES GETTING KICKED. There I said it.

Our nation is completely different now.

Obama, as I said, was no friend of mine - I didn't support other than in the sense he was president.

Where I am now is...I CAN'T support our president.

that's sad. I didn't like Obama, he cost me money. But he was the president. Like Trump is. You don't have to like it or him, but you do HAVE to deal with it. You only have one other choice, and that is to GTFO. So buckle up, or pack your sh!t.

Today, as I watched Obama trying to reassure us all that everything is to do with the bi-partisan politics in Washington, I realized something. What he is saying doesn't matter.

Now, I will grant you that I am not a fan of Obama or his politics BUT, I do not say that what he is saying doesn't matter because what he is saying is not something that I agree with.

WE as Americans, I feel, are missing something crucial here.

Agree or not, Barack Hussein Obama IS our President and we ALL, right or left, ought to support him and rally behind him.

Believe me, I know this is no easy thing to do. But we, as a country DID elect him (conspiracies aside here). And we, as Americans, ought to support one another in that choice. Come 2012, we can make another choice, but in the here and now, we need to be one. Solid. Whole. A nation working together.

We all have a family member who does things we would never do, but in the thick of it all, we will stand up for that family member against all odds...just because they are family. WE ARE A FAMILY AMERICA....and we need to get together and support each other. Even those we disagree with.

Wow.

That's a great find and very apropo.

"A nation working together."

We were so much closer than.

So very far away now....

Nice deflection from what you posted in the past, you know, kinda like you ranted about Trump doing.

Seems a bit hypocritical

Even though I am a staunch Trump supporter, I can't criticize you for this view. I felt exactly the same way from 2008 to 2016... it eventually passes after the individual who you believe is destroying the country and an embarrassment to the office leaves it.
