Outage sans Outrage

Crapful day. I come home and lights no turnin' on. I go check the apartment meters, theysa all dead!

The beers are warm, the apartment is baking because it's hot as the dickins!

Lightin' up some scented tea candles just to make an aim for the terlet.

My laptop only has about an hour of battery and there's no 'adult entertainment' stored.

What to do, what to do.

I'm bored, I'm angry at life--the things we take for granted like coming home and having a warm meal and a youtube.

Do I really have to read a book in the bath by candlelight?!?!

What do you do to keep from getting outraged? Mesa not scared!

Ok this is funny though. I called to report the outage to the power company..

Then they sent me an email saying there's an outage at my address.

Good to know you're aware of your outage!!! So ridiculous.

Reminds me of this awful cable internet provider we had. Call in to inquire about an outage in our area and the annoying recorded message would direct us to go to the website for information.

Our net is out, idiots. Can't go to the site. Geez.

Do you have a charging adapter in your car? Had to do this a couple month back, charged laptop and tablet.

Edit: that was dumb of me...
The adapter i have has both usb port and three prong.. i don't expect you to have a 3 prong adater for your laptop.

No power sucks. Get a AC inverter for the car to charge your laptop. Connect your router and cable modem to separate UPS's (battery side). The larger the capacity UPS the longer you can watch x vids! (conditions apply). Don't plug any other device into "battery" side of the ups.

A day without electricity actually sounds relaxing to a nerd like me. If you lived in Bondurant Iowa you might not have a bathtub with no electricity to come home to this evening.

We usually get power outages on the first really hot day of summer. Everyone turns on the AC and the grid can't take it.

Spinning it positively might help. Take it as a reminder of how lucky we are the rest of t--eh screw it get piss drunk on warm beer.
