Btw, I fully expect by Friday the left will fully switch to some new outrage.

It will be because Putin saw todays news cast of Trump and is now pissed, and they will call Trump a war mongering nihilist who wants the destruction of the world at Russias hand.

You’ve got to give the left more credit. By this Friday the MSM will have them on their 5th new faux outrage!!

Uhm, just to let you know, and this predates Trump considerably, McCain, Brennan, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker... not conservatives in any way. The 3 Republicans are RINOs and have been called such for many years now. John Brennan was a socialist years ago, so his opinion is worth about as much on this matter as a tightly coiled pile in the back yard of a dog owner's property. You're mirepresenting these as conservative politicians when they're the stalwarts of the Never Trump RINO movement who have spent the past 2 years latching onto every opportunity to criticize Trump purely because he called them out for their liberal horsecrap while they were supposedly Republican lawmakers.

Heh, last night a friend of mine posted an old childhood favorite cartoon of mine, "Fox and the Hound".

I couldn't help but think it could be the new outrage! Because I'm pretty sure there's an old white lady who bakes pies in it. That isn't offensive at all..right??... But I can imagine it being offensive to loony people today. "Women don't bake pies!" "Not enough diversity!" "Disney is racist".. On and on and on..

That is how bad all this fake outrage is getting IMO.

IMHO, The only thing he can do at this point is claim he mis spoke. He screwed up. Undeniable, it's recorded for all eternity. It's not the first time it's happened and I doubt it will be the last. How wrong he was, or is, remains to be seen. But I think he meant it just like he said it. Again, IMHO.

By the time the left find something to really discuss about Trump, thats really an issue the rest will miss it because of this crying wolf BS. Used to come here and learn and try and understand different and opposing viewpoints now, its just 24/7 piss moan and complain over every minute detail. Its obsessive compulsive disorder, it's extent and severity concern me more than any press conference with Putin or Trump. Acting like its the 40's and its a war summit for crying out loud. All the squealing just sounds like the left in its death throes, and makes you wonder how desperate they have really become. LOL hell guys we didn't want the party to die, most people just didnt want Hilliary as president LOL.

One of the reasons I voted for President trump was his plan to make amends with Russia. I know Putin is a d.ckweasel but so is the leaders of Iran and China, N. Korea etc. The people of these countries pay attention as much as they can through the censorship wall, that is who we are interested in. This whole concept of "Russia bad, we must have war at all costs" is the same dinosaur poop that's been dumped on us for years. President Trump's thinking is outside this pile and he is doing an excellent job. The more shrillness and wailing and gnashing of teeth that I see out there against the President, the more it strengthens my resolve to support him and vote for him in the next presidential election. (I speak for millions more like me.)

You don't believe people can misspeak? Good god, man. I would give anything to see you on stage.

People can misspeak? Yeah sure they can.

Our president stood beside a Russian dictator and threw the USA under the bus. Don't care what political label we give each other that crap cannot be justified.

He said something you didn't approve of. I get it. But now you have to pretend having said something you do not approve of is detrimental to American interests or those of the world.

It doesn't matter if I approve of it or not. Our President of The United States of America stood beside, sided with, and showed his allegiance to a foreign dictator of Mother Russia over The United States of America.

The Left, The Right, and The Center should all be unnerved.

So, for just a couple of minutes, let's drop the Left v. Right BS. We've all seen the footage of Trump and Putin in Helsinki. We all heard what was said, the body language, and a fair understanding of the message being sent. And now, a day later, Trump is saying that he simply misspoke and used the word 'would' when he meant to say 'wouldn't'. I have to ask, is there anyone here that has listened to Trump's retraction and honestly believes it's legit?

I agree...

Trump is a victim of his own ego, thinking he can say or do anything and his supporters won't question his motives; He is right in that respect but he certainly miscalculated the blow back even from his own party, Fox and other thinking conservatives. This can't be ignored but the spin should be very entertaining.

No he didn't. He acted in good faith, good manners, and good form towards a foreign leader. You nervousness is the result of reporting.

And you don't want a president you want a buffoon who can't string together a coherent sentence. I never claimed to be an English major but I'm not the president, next election we should hire an uneducated, toothless warlord and then we will show the world who the real tough guy is!

I don't care who it is so long as he can lead a country. Leadership experience is far more conducive to leading a country than political experience.

He doesn't trust past leaderahip in our Intel agencies, rightfully so. Look at what theyve been doing to him, they are his self proclaimed enemies , Clapper Brennan, Comey, Mueller etc.. All actively trying to take him down, imcluding rhe MSM. It doesn't mean he trusts Putin either. It means, he wants to move on bc he knows thiscollusion thing is bull#ans purely poltical.

Exactly. I see all of this hyperventaling as a complete joke. People are walking away from the ideology and the party for that reason among many. Being manipulated and lied to on a regular basis.

In that same vein, who cares?

What has changed?

Is our country less safe?

A politician said something.

That's it.

He questioned the intelligence services.

OMG

Don't we do that daily?

Don't we scoff when "intelligence" says Iraq has WMD's?

This is just an opportunity to attack Trump.

That's all this is.

Unless you can identify the global or national ramifications from what he said, the past 24 hours has been hyperbole on steroids.
