The rules changed and are changing. The ones with kids taken away from them recently are asylum seekers. Illegal immigrants looking for work don't bring kids with them (check any stories about illegal immigrants at the border and you'll see these are people of working age and unencumbered by toddlers and babies.)

LOL, if that were really the case, there wouldn't be anyone crying buckets over the kids being separated from their mommies at the border. (it can't be both ways)

When someone has a hearing the Office for Refugee Resettlement makes contacts to get them legal aid, they have contracts with the non-profit Vera Institute for Justice, which in turn sub-contracts with more than a dozen organizations around the country to provide free legal representation and advice to immigrants facing deportation and other legal issues. in other words, no one goes in front of the judge without a lawyer this is a lie. They want you to know the state doesn't provide a lawyer which is true in civil matters however there is a program to get them legal assistance.

This is the side effect of promising amnesty to children and then adding in the lure of chain migration.

Parents send their kids on the idea that the kids will get amnesty and then because we "can't separate families" all of the relatives will be allowed to come along right after.

Look it up, because it turns out there are PLENTY of American children that have no one to speak for them in court. To the point that there are people volunteering to represent these children. This is where CASA comes in. Look it up.

This is NOT just an illegal immigrant problem, but I'm pretty sure most of you that are outraged were never concerned about these children before.

Actually most of the kids aren't Mexicans at all. They're Central Americans from countries like El Savlador and Guatamala. The reason we should be billing Mexico is that Mexico does have border walls on their southern border to keep out illegals from further south, where most of these kids come from, but they're aiding and abetting this flood of migrants because they know they're not stopping for Mexico.

That's why Mexico should be billed.

STOP SENDING YOUR KIDS HERE FOR US TO RAISE THEM FOR YOU!!!!!! It's not our duty as US citizens to raise your kids because you irresponsibly had children.

which makes me wonder where the Officials in said Country are of the people illegally crossing into the USA? What is their President or Prime Minister doing to help these people? I hear a lot of Right Wings yelling about it loudly, but they're not holding 'said Countries' accountable for this chaos.

What are the Countries these people belong to going to do about it?
