Looks like it was a rifle and a typo.

Let's hope that's all it was.

They're so used to mischaracterizing semi-automatic rifles and handguns as assault weapons that they just slipped up when talking about revolvers.

Yeah, I don't disagree with the premise in general, I just think it was sloppy editing in this case.

From an interoffice police memo pdf.. .

The AK-47 assault rifle had an overall length of 23 inches and had a laser sight. Two 30-
round magazines containing 59 live rounds were taped together and inserted into the
rifle.

That sad thing is our made up silliness still can't top theirs.

Oh man. That's an excellent point. Like the chainsaw bayonet.

On display for your pleasure is the anti-gun media's description of what is likely a competition revolver..but with a few added features we didn't know were possible.

Suspect killed, officer injured in Calif. shootout

An assault revolver with high-capacity magazines and a revolver were recovered at the scene.

This is embarrassing. Another blatant example of the stupidity of anti-gun idiots.

One

There is no such thing as an assault revolver.

Two

Revolvers don't use magazines.

The liberal media at work.

Agree with almost everything you said:

I don't think it's "liberal" media in this case...just uneducated idiots writing copy.

As far as "assault" if you add that word to modify anything it sounds threatening..."He was carrying an assault baseball bat." "An assault dog."

Just plain stupidity.

Well, lucky he didn't have a full-auto compound bow.

There have been full auto crossbows for centuries...

The fact that it has been this long without a correction just proves what the narrative continues to be.

You should contact them to see if they'll fix it

So , what everyone has saying , there has been zilch proof-reading there for 4 years ?
Sounds about right.

My good lord in heaven, an assault revolver

When will their intentionally dense arrogant condescending attitudes desist? Their mischaracterizations of firearms is willful

He, obviously, had a lot of fun with that. Goodness knows, I would.

I'll have to see if I can contact him somehow--maybe get the design for that. May not be good for much other than fun at the range, but there's nothing wrong with that.

I love his YT channel just for the interesting ideas he comes up with and the OBVIOUS JOY he takes in using them.

I really think it is a toss up between the devices and how happy he is using them. lol

That is how I felt the first time I installed crank-fire on my browning 1919

www.atlanticfirearms.com...

If you can spare the cash, this thing is a real hoot. Its ROF is limited only by how fast you can turn the crank
