these kids are amazing man....

this is the first round of the semi finals. these kids are here from all over the world.
i is open to the public and there is nobody here.

the performers families are here and thats it.

what a bummer

my wife, daughter and i are the only people here.

behind where we are sitting(when we get back in) are the judges.
all masters of composition and piano and #.

trust me when i tell you these kids are ripping it up


we are getting ready to go back in.

the first kid, Ryan Zhu is only 14 and he crushed it

If we read your thread tomorrow or later tonight...can I still watch it live?

"Watch live! Now!"...that's a min-ute glitch in thread titles that folks may not see the same minute, days, weeks later for the first time.

And worldwide time zones make it untrue for someone reading this later. And some can't watch any videos anyway...let alone the minute the op is posted.

Maybe just me...but watching anything on a link "now" or "live"...is a mis-nomer.

I hope you'll post links later after it's over. I play piano myself.

I'd be there if it was closer and agree it's a real shame that the community is uninterested in such a high level event. I don't think there is another country in the world with a less appreciative and knowledgeable public when it comes to Art of all kinds.

Anyway , thanks for the link TST. I didn't stream it live but cool none the less......even for deplorable me.

I finally have the piano for clip to play , very talented and not a bad cash prize either. Have a kid or kin playing? Both my grandmothers had pianos and Mom had one , one of the grandmothers taught lessons at her house. I miss hearing them played live , someone would always start playing at get family functions as a kid.

And TST? Just meaning whenever someone tomorrow reads thread and try to watch it cause you say it's on LIVE...will it be? Or a replay?

well when i say live now i would think people would look at when i posted it and see that it was live then.

(imagine a reader somewhere who just doesn't think of the time stamp)...and stares at his screen thinking "WTH? I can't find this damn thing ANY place!"...in like Greenland 3 years from now reading ATS at 4 a.m. local time!
