I think a lot of that crowd is people passing through visiting trafalgar or going by to see what all the fuss is.

Judging by the range of protest banners there was quite a collection of protesters covering a range of topics. You know, any opportunity to get the old banner out of the loft. Analysing the first random image of the protest in London we had the following themes.

- 50% were "dump Trump"; "Trump Wasteman(?)"; "Love Hates Trump"; "Trump satire" and that sort of thing. As one would expect at an anti-Trump rally.
- 50% covered a range of topics, as follows: anti-capitalism; refugees welcome; Blank Lives Matter; anti-racism/sexism; open borders; a couple of EU and Palestine flags; anti-Fascism; anti-Brexit; anti-Tories.

Pity all these people did not turn up to protest against the Chinese President, who is a real monster and human rights abuser. Sometimes I think people have got their priorities wrong.

If anyone gets a chance have a good ear at the responses from Scottish folk after trump tweeted about visiting.

It part of their ambitions to get out there with the herd and feel the flow of the collectivist energy, like the people at the sports stadium doing "The Wave". The 'other' "reason" for being there (the stuff on the signs and all that) is mostly a rationalization; its all secondary.

Trump should slap a tariff on all those disrespectful Brits..
