We weren't taught these things back then.
(We were only taught about frogs - and that was rather unappealing.)

One annoyance though is people in gym who don't clean after themselves.

There's a huge sign "Replace the weights", but no you gotta play hopscotch over all the weights on the floor.

And everybody wants the 10kg weights, but the guy who's got them isn't even training.

He's sitting there texting on his phone.

I think there's such a thing as a "road hog".

Similarly there is a "gym swine".

Training: So he throws a ball at me - but not a normal ball, this thing weighs at least 15-20 kilos. I'm struggling. He's like come, throw it at me. My arms can't anymore. He goes, you like me so much? And I'm just about to put the ball down and say - yeah, I actually do. But all I'm thinking is - throw that ball at his face and take his head off. He's tortured you for two days, with your last might - don't you wanna? And all I can manage is one meter.

Then my trainer goes: congratulations.

I suppose "boot-camp" is one kind of performance.

Previously you couldn't leave (not without a doctor's certificate or a Court Marshall), but now you could walk out.

But yet, you choose to stay.

Not body-building in itself - the weights are much lighter, but more cardio, and much more repetitions and sets.

But they say a "boot-camp" cuts your muscles, and helps you mentally.

Not sure, we'll see.

Being male and "gym spotting".
It means being on the bench, and some dude comes running - it's all you bro - it's all you!
I knew that, but thanks anyway.

And my trainer asks - why don't you ever spot me?
So I say, "I don't want to poke my nose where it doesn't belong".
And he says, no it belongs there.

You've taken up this sport.
It belongs there.

When my muscles are failing give me a nudge brother.
