Others throughout the city were arrested as well, so yes, she was targeted on account of her choice in careers but she was not singled out.

Law enforcement decided to arrest someone for breaking the law and this is some how proof of corruption? No corruption is when someone is arrested when they have not broken any law and law enforcement knows it.

It really doesn't matter how often a law is used; if it's on the books it's still the law.

It doesn't matter that the person who broke the law is high profile and so receives extra attention from law enforcement.

Flip it around; when Trump is brought up on charges for treason it will be an example of a person being prosecuted for a law that is not often used and where his high profile has earned him extra attention from law enforcement. Will we cry about how corrupt that move is because it can be seen as a sign of political targeting?

Uh, actually, it is neither right nor just for police to impartially apply the law. How many other times was this law cited for police actions to prosecute offenders before this incident, hmmmm?

I guess you're not suspicious of the fact that this is the first time they tried to pin this on someone, nor the coincidence that that very person happens to be on a very short list of the presidents most hated enemies (i'd suspect).
