If you're familiar with a tv show called the Americans Strzok actually closed the case that show was based on. In a mission code named Ghost Stories.

The FBI files on the mission.

Operation Ghost Stories

Inside the Russian Spy Case

The arrests of 10 Russian spies last year provided a chilling reminder that espionage on U.S. soil did not disappear when the Cold War ended. The highly publicized case also offered a rare glimpse into the sensitive world of counterintelligence and the FBI’s efforts to safeguard the nation from those who would steal our vital secrets.

Our case against the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) operatives—dubbed Operation Ghost Stories—went on for more than a decade. Today we are releasing dozens of still images, surveillance video clips, and documents related to the investigation as part of a Freedom of Information Act request.

This guy is coated in hubris and arrogance. He knows they can't prove his bias had anything to do with his actions, in this setting anyway.

The representatives asking him questions know they cannot prove he did anything either.

That is the comedy of this entire ordeal. It's a soap opera production meant to get the very reactions from people that we are getting in this thread.

As another member said, it's all propaganda and people are eating it up.

I didn't know he closed the case, I thought he said he worked on it a good bit...

Hard to hear his answers with all the shenanigans from these "esteemed elected officials"...

Who voted for these people...

I think it's funny how fast Clinton got cleared as opposed to Trump being dragged through the MUDD for two years with no end in sight.

Did or did not team left plant the dossier in 'news' sites?

EXACTLY what STRZOK just accused Russia of doing.

That's most disturbing - no end in sight.

We want the truth exposed no matter who it is but there seems to be a certain mission/agenda to get Trump...
even though "Trump isn't the target of the investigation" (says Gowdy)

"You do have security clearance, don't you?"

"Today I do, yes..."

"You had one for awhile...other than, uh, the circumstances?"

"Yes."

Sounds to me as if they were pulled briefly at least for "circumstances." Which would probably mean internal sham investigation of him that concluded quickly I'm guessing. Scary that this guy still has clearance.

As far as bias: Poe made a great point about bias as regards jurors and judges. But the main fact of the matter to me is that if you are on FBI time and devices talking impeachment and stopping Trump (amongst hundreds of other biased statements) while running investigations you don't get to claim it didn't effect you.

As far as Hillary and "Mid Year" Strzok claims no knowledge that evidence was presented that many of the emails were siphoned to an unknown. Incompetence or lie?

'Murican hero for sure.

The bias shown by Strzok and Page and Brennan and Clapper and company was the motivation for a bogus investigation.
Those FISA warrants, the altered 302's and anything else that surfaces from this will end Mueller and the Russia fantasy.

Fruit from a Poisoned Tree.
