Ever since a few days ago i get a button at the bottom of the page that says "Close Ad" and has a small x on it, nothing else shows up and i don't know why, just wanted to let you know because it looks very weird

At least a couple times i have actually seen an image for an ad at the bottom but mostly is just like this, i don't have an ad blocker, i do see ads at the top but that bottom thing is always there when i go to any page

Here an image of it

Are you on a mobile or actual pc laptop?

I ask because I've learned my Samsung device automatically screens adds and purges them.
So I've never seen these.

Aaaahh sh!t..

Other than slow loads. But yes, this is built into most Samsung products... mainly mobile devices. My laptop running Windows 10 constantly crashes on ATS. Hence my Samsung Galaxy s2

It's an issue with the server sending the ad. I get this all the time being behind a VPN and the Great China Firewall. Blank ad with a close button because the server is blocked by my IP Address or it doesn't like my VPN server's IP address.

i get lots of "ads", on lots of sites that have nothing in them, that i need to close. i have always suspected that it is due to regional ads. with no ad being available where i am. like if you are in sy New York, you will get one ad. in Toronto, you get another ad, in Detroit you get yet a different ad. all these ads being paid for, for their respective areas, using the ad company running the ad on the site. yet if you are in another country where they don't actually sell their ad space, you just get a blank.

I don't use ad blockers on this site because awhile back the owners asked us not to. But I hate popups. Hate. So if they continue, gonna start blocking.

Now the ads appear, taking over part of the page..this is not fun ..quite irritating.
