Israel has begun helping Palestinians lately. With the death of Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat, Israel has made promises to release prisoners. How long this will continue will hopefully be a non-issue as new relations with Israel and the new government of Palestine seem to be going well.
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel on Monday began to release a first wave of 500 Palestinian security prisoners, fulfilling a promise it made at an Israeli-Palestinian summit meeting in Egypt earlier this month, where leaders declared an end to four years of bloodshed.

Well, it seems the Jews of Israel are not evil zionists. They are trying to bring peace to the area ravaged by war for years. Who knows, this may bring peace to both Israel and Palestine.

After all the years of vile acts on both sides, after all the innocent lives lost over a strip of land, after all the lives lost over a leader who did not want peace, after all the blodshed, there may be a glimmer of hope for both nations.
I have never understood why, Israel would not give Palestine the Gaza strip, and why it caused so much hatred. Some people think Palestine is the evil nation, causing all the destruction, and others think Israel is the one to blame, when in truth it is both. These are grown men, who should be able to at least come to a comfortable solution to the destruction and deaths over these things you mentioned. If this is a start towards peace, then I will feel great, as I hate to see the images of suicide bombs going off that leaves bodies laying on the public roads thta yong children see, and the parents who lose their sons and daughters over this dispute almost every day.
Let there be peace and let freedom ring!

Zionism is noting evil.

First group of 150 Palestinians left Ketziot prison very early this morning in 14 buses, escorted by police and ambulance, and were brought to Salem checkpoint (near Jenin / Westbank) , where they will undergo a final check by Israeli and Palestinian Authority officials.

Additional 350 Palestinian prisoners followed.

180 of the prisoners that have been released have not completed two-thirds of their sentence, some of them are members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. But the government did not release prisoners with blood on their hands

By midday all 500 were expected to have been delivered to drop-off points on the edges of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

Another 400 prisoners will be released within the next three months.
