Need Help With computer Download

I have a video that I made with a production company.

It is downloadable from Vimeo.

My husbands PC has a firewall from work.

I only have an IPad with me.

We can’t download it.

I need to send someone a link to download this 2-minute video. Then they’ll send it to my iCloud email in a way that I can save it on my iPad somewhere... most likely in iCloud.

There is a choice of download sizes. I’d want two: the original for things like Kickstarter and then the 360 for emailing it comfortably.

Can anyone help?

Is it even possible for me to have it on my iPad...stored somewhere?

realplayer might be able to do it or you could try adding a video downloader to your browser from the add-ons section.

You say there's a firewall? You can disable those whenever you need and then enable it again.

Doesn't the production company have the video?

Maybe they can send you a copy? Put it on a serve somewhere that's not vimeo to docnload? Put it up on youtube?

This program should help according to its' wiki page. I've used it in the past on youtube. It is a command line program though it is very easy to use, or it was when I used it some years ago.

Just tried it.

No 12 year old kid around? or otherwise find a large USB key stick and slap a live linux boot partition on it on the lappy and then run linux from it and download it to the stick and job done.

Best bet is to get the original source at its best quality from the company who did it but that assumes they kept the data.
