And if just being at the airport counts:

Greece sounds great for a next trip.
Can't go on trips every year, though. Costs are not cheap.

All of Europe, except I've never been to Poland, Romania or Portugal.

Then Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil.

I've lived and was a citizen of former Yugoslavia, lived in Bosnia and Croatia, and am a citizen of USA and live in the USA. I was deployed to Kosovo for 3 years with US Army.

These places I've lived in for 9 months to a year and a half, but was not a resident:

Austria, Germany, England, Scotland.

I wanna go to Japan, Australia, China, India and Nepal, among others.

Canada (dad was big on RVing up in Ontario when I was a kid)
Lived in South Korea & spent a summer at a cabin on the Yellow Sea with my Canadian best friend from school & her fam (easily the best summer of my life)
Bahamas
Hong Kong
Hawaii was quite different in atmosphere & culture from the mainland US. It might as well have been an entirely different country that just spoke English, so I'm including it.

If airport layovers count, we had a 12 hour one in Tokyo for the connector flight to Hawaii. We explored a little in the airport's (Haneda's) immediate area while we waited, but that's about it. It was really busy and not particularly fun.

You will find, if you occupy the decent end of the socio-economic strata, that those rules do not apply to you. They only apply to people who have money and somewhere to live that does not cost them monthly rent, more than their wages can possibly account for.

Apart from coming up with a total load of boring bollox, which countries have you visited TruBrit?

My list below and I didn't have money but was just open minded and hit the road finding jobs along the way, having jobs for some countries and visiting others for business :

Sweden
Russia
Holland
France
Germany
Ireland
The Falklands
Irak
Afghanistan
India
Switzerland
Belgium
USA but not Vegas again (honest I was not with Aug and DB that time that never happened with a couple of ball hammers and the dodgy bloke in the motel with rotten teeth and greasy lapels!)
Croatia
Scotland
Norway

Leeds, Bradford and Manchester...
