No one even bothers to mention the actual people behind this problem like Bezos, Zuckerberg, etc. they just throw out some catch-all buzzword and it somehow is just implied that the right wing is behind it all. The right wing are complicit, don't get me wrong, but they are for the most part just a bunch of myopic useful idiots that don't see the long con and fail to realize that their political party crashed long ago.

The thing is what is going wrong in today's society isn't an ideological problem or even a political problem - it is a psychological problem. It is because we live in a society that is far too left-brain orientated (important to note that I mean left-brained in the literal sense, not the political).

Russia, or rather Putin, understands this better than most. Which is why he was able to infiltrate and manipulate the minds of Americans creating division and pushing us toward chaos. He did this using identity politics and social media. The result he created is mass scale cognitive dissonance. What happens when you create mass scale cognitive dissonance within a society is the rational people will drop out of the process while the irrational will have a fire lit under them and move to the forefront. History tells us when this happens quite typically is when extremely bad people start rising to power.

It is imperative that the rational minds not drop out and continue to challenge this crowd or we will be headed for very dark times indeed.
