Matt Fuller - twitter

Sometimes its not a good idea to make comparisons on twitter about sporting success using Hillary Clinton as a reference point, it has a way of backfiring, bigly, and turning into a goldmine of 1-liners, memes, comedic genius and general asshattery.

Truly awesome in its (their) simplicity, check-out some of the replies

files.abovetopsecret.com...

Now, given Trumps latest tweet naming Hillary again, she is definitely not going to go away any time soon, just like Hitler and Jesus, she too will become a reference point for human conduct as we all collectively move into the future.

I love it when Hillarys closet gets the spotlight shone upon it every now & again, it gives everyone a stark reminder of the bullet well-dodged on Nov 9th 2016.

Cheers.

Couldn't we, you know, keep football and the WC separate from all the political drama? I mean, root for your team: Croatia, Russia, the UK. Hooray and good luck to everyone playing!

You can not be a Republican and still find Hillary reprehensible.

Enough independents did to cost her the election, for instance...

Ah, ok. Show me a post in the last 8 years that has a hint of bipartisan in it.

Good point. Trumpers (and I'm one) did not win the election alone. Best to remember that.

Conservative and Republican are two different things though... for quite a few years now.

Not a lot of Conservative Republican politicians, for instance.

Lots and LOTS of independent conservatives.

Constitutionalists, if you will. Social liberals, fiscal conservatives.

So it isn't being bipartisan, it is picking the political hack that aligns closest with your values.

Now you are what they term a liberal now... which I find sad because actual liberalism looks NOTHING like the Progressive Borg that have taken over the Democratic party.

THAT mindset is what current Republicans and the majority of Independents are fighting back against.

So good luck with your rapidly dwindling support of both Independents and #WalkAway Democrats in the next election.

You can define me by the post I made? Where do I tell you anything about me? I laughed at the silly lack of objectivity at NEO. You, however have shown exactly who you are. Jesus this is sad.

Then you should know that there are 10000's of bipartisan posts instead of stating that there are no bipartisan posts in the last 8 years.

True, it was the minority plus the electoral college.
