Didn't seem to mind attaching the Trump name to it. How quickly loyalty changes when a few bucks are involved.

To be honest, I don't think Trump reads. Much.

Want to specifically quote me on how much of an idiot I think that guy is?

You can skip the rest of the video and fast forward to the 4:32 mark where he is asked to read from a legal document. Whether it's confirmation that he "can't read good" is up to you to decide, but it's quite painful to watch. (To the 6:00 mark.)

You seem to be saying that you have nothing to strengthen your position other than years of being here...
I concur.
Gee , I cant even tell you how long I have been a member this time.
Why ? Because it matters not.
Ignorance is ignorance whether it comes from a veteran or rookie...

We haven't even discussed civilly.

We both assume the other is a shill...

That's where we are...

That is where you are.
I have discussed.
Now , as I see the bottom line , I go no further on this thread either.
I will not respond.

His hands arent small, but they're out of sorts compared to white people and black people hands as his fingers are short. Its an orange people thing.

He can read. Maybe not sit and read a book 'normally' like a normal person might, but you know what I dont either. And I 'write books'.

Donald Trump has been through many top schools and excelled, somehow his success to a liberal is failure,I'm sure he has twice the intelligence as the accuser, always the case

You know ...

As someone who has spent time working with people who have specific learning disabilities like dyslexia and dysgraphia and dyscalculia and may have a son who has a pretty good IQ and one of the same ...

One's ability to read and spell is not an accurate marker of one's intellect. There are many people who struggle to read or write who never achieve facility with those skills who are actually very, very smart and go on to great careers. You can look them up. Some of them have been responsible for things that are fundamental to our understanding of the universe (Einstein). Some have won Nobel prizes (Carol Greider in 2009).

Whether or not this has anything to do with Trump, I don't know, but as someone who is about to have to spend a significant time fighting for my own kid and become *that* parent, watching people deride those who seem to have reading trouble and assign it as a mark of intellect bothers me greatly. The two are not at all related, and allowing this to continue only makes my own job harder.

“He is incapable of reading a book, much less writing one,” Schwartz tweeted on Wednesday. The author had previously revealed to The New Yorker that he had written all of 1987′s Art of the Deal.

Someone accused Trump of being unable to read. Much less write.

When has that happened for any other past President?

Good question. How many Presidents before Trump had books published before they ran for POTUS?

Hey you could do the research if you are so interested in it.

Which schools?

Let's start with you naming his schools and the accolades he received while he was there.

You can't...

When has ignorance been so prevalent in our society, that people believe stupid claims like

'' the president cant read ''

The mans a billionaire businessman.... if you believe ''he cant read'' then I put it to you that you are infact the one who cannot comprehend simple logic and should step away from the keyboard.

PS - what a great insightful thread to put onto ATS. way to keep our sites credibility and quality up to scratch!

Where did Bill Gates graduate from? Stop this dumb #. This has been brought up over and over and over and over.

He is using the Art of the Deal in the WH. If the pompous, self righteous, race baiting and hating left ever just stopped to try to counter it they would see.

Everyone should. Yeah, this ghost writers wants some more time in the sun so he says some dumb #. Are ANY of you worth what he is? Have what he has? Nope....

Those who say he is dumb are the dumbest of all....and the easiest to manipulate.

Well. Please start to correct it and let's go through his schooling.

To be honest, I am wondering if you can read because the accusation was placed by the guy who wrote Trump's book...it's in the title. And whether or not we are talking about illiteracy is pretty much not the point...his word salads being something that I can cite.

To be further honest, I remember you. So I'll give you the benefit.

Please cite his brilliance. Where he went to school is no longer good enough. What did he do outside of bankrupt Casinos and can't be attributed to outside influence?

This just turned into the perfect ATS thread...have at it, Cap.

Nice. The difference is that Gates was selling computers and Trump was selling his name.

I can appreciate the trap though.

Yet you want to accuse the leader of the free world of being dumb? Hahahahahaha...c'mon now.

He is worth Billions....how about you? I know I am not....

Ahhhh, the excuses,

. . . that have nothing to do with the main subject.

Ever read Trump's transcripts?

He seems barely literate.

If it wasn't a rhetorical trap then you're extremely lucky. Gates is a College drop out.

So through some transitive property (that negates social context), you negated why I should care about Trump's schooling.

While I am unimpressed, I am impressed. One of those things.

I'm not a Billionaire. How many people are? Are you? Do you think defending those people will get you to their level?

And word on the street of the rich is that Trump is in debt more than his assets are worth. I know. I was so SURPRISED!!!

That said, the only thing that he might be literate on is how to circumvent the US through legal loopholes...I would believe that. And then it becomes a different conversation.
