The Country is a hotbed and a Fortress from everything from the Nazis to all kinds of terrorist influences.....oh yes Trump and Friends have it targeted...amongst other places I would imagine....and why yes I do believe they WOULD use military force to scour these spots and seize the 500-1000+ tonnes of gold likely hidden there and also freeze massive assets globally in the process when and if they chose to do so.

You condone military force for the stealing of gold?

WAT?

It's still robbery. But that is beside the point because it's rhetorical.

My 2 cents....

People would be far less likely to support a person if there werent others drumming up support against them

Something cuts groups into 2 factions, and its a typical human trait. Why so frustrated by it?

Sounds exactly like a trap to catch a "leaker". Float fake story in meetings, wait to see who runs to the press with it. Worked like a charm.

Seems like you were ready to believe it before you read it.

How much of this "Neocon" talk is based on you hearing another unsubstantiated sound byte?

And let's not forget that it's now perfectly legal to use propaganda on US citizens on US soil.

I think the media and news have just gotten lazy and/or pure propaganda since about 99% of the time it is an unnamed source. By saying this they are killing two birds with one stone. First they can validate ANYTHING they want and second it paints a picture of a dysfunctional President and Cabinet since the unnamed sources are people close to him.

Another one that gets me is the Top Secret bla bla bla....not so top secret if everyone knows it...lol

In an age of massive electronic communications that happens in an instant unnamed sources is so 1950s.

If I lived in Venezuela I would love to be liberated from that despotism.

Im sure they wouldnt mind not having to hunt dogs and cats in the street or eating the animals in the zoos, just to survive. But what do I know, im just a conservative D bag.

Well, we can sit by and watch people get brutalized by despots, which seems to be the typical pacifist response.

Are you here to discuss your topic or wax poetic at this week's rosy retrospection talent show?

Build the damn wall and we don't even have a reason for this present discussion, bottom line.

Curious.

Was the last prez a neocon when he brought freedom and democracy to Libya?

He wanted to invade to depose their corrupt socialist government that is committing mass atrocities. I didn't hear any complaints when Obama/Nuland did the same thing to Ukraine's government and replaced them with Western/pro-EU puppets. Or Haiti. Or Libya. Or Bush in Iraq. Or...(insert US "regime change" target here)

Not to mention to highlight the failures of Chavistas and their socialist ideology.

If nothing else, it should serve as a warning to socialists in this country why socialism/Statism is a failed ideology and to show other Americans exactly why it should be avoided like the plague. It is a sure path to a failed state, mass genocide and totalitarian state control

Venezuela is the only South America country that buys Russia weapons. Of course Trump should invade Venezuela. If I were Trump I would have invaded Venezuela for buying Russia weapons.

Venezuela buys Su-30 from Russia. Russia is enemy of America because America cannot control Russia. That means Trump should invade Venezuela.

US has not "attacked" Venezuela...

Correct. That doesn't mean Trump didn't think it would be a good idea.
But he was just brainstorming.

I'm sure discussions like this happen all the time, with every president going back to George Washington. You just don't hear about it because "Grover Cleveland Derangement Syndrome" wasn't a thing in the late 19th Century.

The irony is, Venezuela has reached a level of desperation where we probably should consider invading it. Hyperinflation has made almost everyone desperately poor, and government malfeasance has cause almost everything to stop working. They're a member of OPEC, but their oil industry is in shambles. It's now reached a point where the public water utilities don't work, and the military is commandeering private tanker trucks to deliver water to their facilities.

So now Trump is guilty of things he did not do.
This "source" is a liar. This is the first anyone ever heard of this nonsense.

America did not invade Germany when Germans butchered millions of Jews in the 1930s. America should not repeat that mistake again. This is why America should take over the world, which would have been easy in 1945 when only America had nuclear weapons.

Kinda funny seeing all these "antiglobalists" cheerleading an action that's too far for the CFR.

Anti-globalists on this website are only anti-globalists when Trump tells them to be so. When he is pro-gobalism so are the very vast majority of the supporters.

The only thread I saw any opposition in, and it was refreshing to see, is the one where the supreme court ruled that Trump can fire the judicial branch and the 2000 judges in it. Some supporters voiced concern that this was not constitutional and did not bode well.

So, don't read too much into it -- if values were as strong as government support here is, we'd be set. As it stands the beliefs, values, opinions, whatever name you wanna put to it -- are as fluid as water. In fact, Bruce Lee would be very proud of most Trump supporters on here.

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle."

- Bruce Lee
