You must not have been paying attention around 2008. I remember lots of articles talking about how Tea Party rallies usually devolved into trouble.

You won't hear any argument from me. Looks like you're all stuck in the same boat.

These two posts are the exact reason why people like Ocasio-Cortez and other millennials are running for office and winning.

"I worked hard and made a living for myself!" Says the non-millennial who doesn't seem to realize that they probably had more purchasing power when they entered the work force than three people entering the workforce today have, combined.

"Millennials are lazy!" Says the person who doesn't seem to realize that most millennials are working more hours than their parents did at the same age and are still unable to make the same living that their parents and grandparents did.

You wonder why the kids today act the way they do? Because of the perception that these two posters have of the kids today. "You're lazier than me and you don't work as hard as I did!"

The reason why Cortez won is because of the lazyness of her generation. They think socialism will spare them the burden of working for what they have. Only problem is, what happens when they run out of other people's money? Again, and I'll stress this as I did my last post, this is my opinion and my opinion alone. I don't presume this to be fact, which is how you took my first post.

But it's not just them. It does show mainstream support from Democrats though

Yeah.

All 13% of them.....

But only about 13 percent of registered Democrats turned out to vote in the 14th Congressional District that takes in parts of Queens and the Bronx, according to a preliminary city Board of Elections tally.

The government should not regulate, or hold corporations accountable for the public interest

I was going to answer your question, but after seeing that crap I'd rather just tell you to go to hell.

As (Trump-hater) Chuck Todd said on MSNBC this week, "Trump is WINNING, and Democrats are reeling with panic."

What is wrong with Alexandria Cortez? She says that if you are for tax cuts, you cannot discuss Healthcare in her Town Halls.

If you've ever read Atlas Shrugged, this is exactly what Ayn Rand was warning us about. Up until now, it was merely a fantastically entertaining and improbable dystopian view of socialistic politics gone mad.

Im not a party member either. I register if I have to and change my affiliation to follow my presidential candidate every 4-8 years.

At heart I am just an american. My values were drilled into me as a first generation son of immigrants. We came here to be american, end of story. We didnt come here to perpetuate Spanish or Cuban ideals. We kept what was good and molded our way of life so as to coexist with our neighbors /HOSTS.

I married an immigrant and have immigrant children.

The point is, what was the point if Americans one day will just give up on being AMERICANS!

Why change so fast and so often according to the ever radicalized whims of the two parties in power?

Our values are found in history books and memories of times past. Our legacy in family and in community.

We do need to see through the lies and question everything. We do not need to place doubt on all of humanity nor should we do so ESPECIALLY to our own people.

We made mistakes, but if we are aware of them and trying to correct them then what we were wasnt that bad, since what we are isnt either.

All things flawed I love my country. Americans should too. The country is the people. Never forget that. Even without a land, we would be Americans.

Thats why I cant accept this generations gullibility when catering to their grandparents now, who refuse to let go /let us become the flawed people we will be.

Just point us in the right direction and go die. That should be more important to the baby boomers now than leaving a stinking mess as a mark on history.

The bi-party must die. Universal Centrists will rise.

Indeed, agreed. Who is John Galt? My favorite companion thought to "Atlas Shrugged" is "Sisyphus Smiles"

That we are wise if we are able to choose our burden before it is imposed on us by powers we can not control. We chase our burden in leisure half the time. Then we prepare for the next smile.

Most wise Sisyphus among all mortal men. Not even love could fool him into abandoning his chosen purpose. His heart was his guide always.

It's obvious that Oscario-Cortez graduated with a major in economics. This "future of the Democratic party" is brilliant!

“unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs.” “Unemployment is low because everyone is working 60, 70, 80, hours a week and can barely feed their kids”… “capitalism has not always existed in this world, and it will not always exist in this world.”

DNC Chair Tommy Perez must be really angry at Barack Obama for NOT endorsing the "future of the Democratic party", Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Obama's Tweet: twitter.com...

I think he's really mad at women, since Hillary lost an "impossible to lose" race, with Barack's full backing.

First off don't get it twisted, Perez and the Hillary set hate the Bernie/Cortex wing of the party, they'll do whatever it takes to subvert them, for one they are addicted to corporate money like their Rep counterparts, so they can never truly represent the will of the non diner class, the press of which many of you think is so liberal, hates them for the same reasons.
Obama wanted Hillary because she is corporate, that's why he was full of half measures concerning change.
