I would violate every single one of the Bill of Rights.

How about just one? How does being a communist violate the fourth amendment, for example?

Prohibiting someone from being a communist would seem to violate at least one of them.

But you are allowed to be a Communist.

Basically by living in a communist regime.

I thought we were talking about it being illegal to be a communist.

But you are allowed to be a Communist.
I'm not a communist. But it doesn't seem to be illegal to be one.

Where did I say it is illegal to be a communist?
I did not.
I said communism in the United States is illegal.
A ruling party.

You know what somebody is saying, but you try to turn it around.
I don't get it.

No.
Though, if they tried to pass unconstitutional laws, those laws would be illegal.

Honestly, I was trying to figure out what you were saying. You finally made it clear.

There is nothing inherently illegal about being a communist, or the communist party.

Their true colors,
and their true intentions
have come to light.

Some are using Maoist tactics.
To them, the ends justify the means.
At any cost.

It is about power. Not about Care.
If power is attained, they will never
relinquish it in a lawful manner.

Think about This: www.bbc.com...

Excellent Thread! S&F!

And please show me where I have stated that someone can not be a communist.

I now know what your point was.

Are you afraid they are going to take over the entire government and destroy the Constitution?

Communism isn't illegal.

It is however, a silly rallying point in the US.

At the point when enough vote for it, do you really think they will care what is and is not legal anymore?

If two wolves and one sheep vote for dinner, and they vote to have mutton. Do you think they'll care if there is a law that says "no mutton" on the books? Next thing you know ... they'll be voting to repeal that law!

This is why the idea of inalienable rights is so important, but replace the idea of natural rights with the state and the state granting rights, and there is no more reason to think your rights to person and property mean anything more than the hungry wolves think they ought to which means they last as long as you remain a wolf and not a moment more.
