If you measure the Gravity at the base of any mountain. It would slightly less at the top.

Regardless of how high. Any altitude above base of the mountain would cause a decrease in Gravity.

It's the Inverse Square Law as Arbitrageur said in his reply to me.

It decreases with altitude. Or Increases with a change in direction North/South by distance away from the Equator. Towards the Poles.

The Earth isn't round.

It's flattened at the top and bottom (poles). And, bulges around the Equator. And, you forgot the effect from the pull of the Moon in an above reply as to the bulge effect.

YES !!

gravity is not a Force that exist by itself, it is an "left over" from the electric field.
So... Yes... as Earth changes it's electric potential, the so called "gravity" force has different strength
