Your pic definitely gives a better view of the protest and blimp.

This is the first one I saw and it made me cringe from it being so extreme!

They look like fine, upstanding British citizens.

He was still in the country. They were protesting in Scotland the day after too and even brought the baby blimp with them.

There were tens of thousands of people and that photo does not represent most Londoners and you know it.

But it plays well with the base doesn't it?

So, with Trumps planned visit to the UK on July 13th, apparently theirs quite a few protests expected to take place... One of which, is to fly a giant baby Trump blimp over parliament, during Trumps visit.

A crowdfunded campaign to launch a giant "Trump Baby" blimp into the skies above central London during US President Donald Trump's upcoming visit to the UK, has smashed fundraising targets.

More than 10,301 pounds ($18,427) has been crowdfunded to get the six metre-high, orange inflatable figure up in the air

Their crowd fund target was 9k$ and they raised +18k$..
Then why didnt they double the size of the blimp?
The "protest" (only recognized as an art display) was quite a flop really.
Maybe they were actually undercover capitalists who just made a 9k$ profit from trolling the socialists...??

That was the size they were allowed and it did its job as Trump even mentioned it

I thought the chan boys were going to puncture this, they were more full of hot air than this balloon

If people want to protest, that's fine. It's a free country (Sort of) but giving money to this whole balloon stunt is a waste of time and money.
People often moan that they struggle to live with low wages and all that, but can willingly give money to make a point with a balloon.
Trump looks in the sky, and shrugs his shoulders. Well worth the time and effort then.

I wonder where the rest of the money they raised is going?

Ask what they are protesting about and you'll just lots of silly answers. Bandwagon jumping.

He avoided London like the PLAGUE.

Seems like it worked to me. Trumpelthinskin couldn't handle a BALOON because it made him feel "unwelcome".

Poor Donnie! SAD!

I just think it's kind of sad that the President of the United States doesn't feel welcome in my country. People have differing views on him and that's fine but as a human being it can't help but make you feel unwelcome, no matter who you are.

If this happened to the Queen in any country in the world, the British people would go mental. Half of them don't even know what they are protesting about.

Agreed at least half have no idea why they're protesting but the differnce between Trump and the Queen is the Queen is apolitical (despite the White House claiming Trump inspecting troops meant the Queen loved him more than any pres in US history).

When he's using milliuons in UK taxpayers money to call for Tommy Robinson to be freed, torpedo the last two years of Brexit talks, cause further collapse of government in run up to Brexit harming econbomy and national security, insults NATO troops that died defending the US in wars since 2001 and then plays golf on his hated resort in Scotland; we have every right to tell him he's not welcome in the country.
