Wait dude you have been a protester before and now you say it is lame as #?.
There are many reasons to protest him what about every lie to do with our NHS or telling folk about these magical no go zones that is just another lie?.
He has and always be a figure of fun.

As you can see we have always thought of him as a figure of fun.

I remain an activist, and always will be, but protesting Trump is one cause I won't be supporting. So he's said some stupid things on Twitter, meh, I support free speech, he's done nothing wrong to me or the UK.
I can't back this horse mate, sorry.

Trump has been a butt for pretty much his entire adult life.
Of jokes, that is.

He created his larger than life personna, and it has followed him into the white house.
With that, comes the Lampooning of his personna. It's "The Part of the Deal" that goes with this kind of fame.
You get to be roasted, and even floated.
Even if it upsets his supporters, and his legions of minions with man-crushes (the most vocal)

Cool then don’t back it.

I won’t protest, but as long it’s peaceful it’s their right

There is an interesting documentary on Netflix from Chanel 4 about President Trump, from friends and foes

probably won’t change your opinion of him, but it’s worth a view

How about you tell me why you support the protests then?
What has Trump done wrong exactly? I don't want to watch some documentary, I want to hear from the horses mouths why British people want to protest him. I have no real beef with him although I don't support all his policies, I'm middle of the road politically.

You are a fellow Brit, do you support protests against Trump?
I'm on the fence, he's done nothing bad to Britain, was democratically elected, and hasn't ruined other countries like the Bush family did...yet.

I'm not a fan of Trump but I don't really care either why, he's Americas President, not ours.

I think I like the Blimp simply because it triggers some of these far right wingers that don't have a sense of humour, who seem to think Great Britian is some lefty politically correct nanny state, who can't look at the problems their own country has and be honest, they'd rather complain about Britian, and some random folks buying n' flying a balloon, saying how it's costing sooooo much money, yet at the same time we are paying a fortune to escort Trump around. I don't think any of them have even seen Corbyn to know what a British Labour leader looks like.
edit on 2-7-2018 by Kurokage because: (no reason given)

Lol, fair one.
Corbyn is a limp rag though, he would have given the Falklands to Argentina back in the day, he opposed the response to fight back, #ing traitor, I'll never forgive him for that.

Perhaps we need to create 'limp rag cry cupboards' maybe?

I certainly hope that the company who created the balloon made a nice profit. Kids will be kids and it appears the childlike behavior we see here in many protests is also the case there. Not surprised they had to go to crowdfunding to find the money and I'd not be surprised if the whole idea came from the company creating it. What a great advertising scheme.

As a Brit, I feel a little bit of shame because these anti Trump idiots are getting all the headlines and making it look like the entre country is populated by moronic, frothing at the mouth, anti democratic whiners.

It just isn't the case, but I guess he (or she) who screams loudest in their autistic fit gets the publicity.

Same problem here. People see the protests in the US hyped by the media and get the wrong idea about what we are like or what it's like here. Squeaky wheels have far to much influence over the narrative.

Seriously....create a plan around someone you know folks want to bash, then execute said plan to your own windfall.

If people don't like Trump, they should be spending their money trying to find a candidate who can beat him in an election.

I don't think it's funny at all , like him or not Donald Trump is the President of the United States and should be afforded the respect that brings on his visit.
I don't have a problem with people protesting his visit but the blimp is mockery not protest.

Sorry respect is earned. Period.

Scrambled, the Saturday morning kids' show, has gone one better.

Seeing as "trump" is kids' slang for a fart...

Maybe it's a question of perspective. On this side of the Atlantic, we don't have aggressive, militarised police and a third world gun violence problem so any coverage is shocking to us.
