Maybe. If the funds which are now going to ICE go to the states in order to support their efforts. Do you think that is feasible?
If they get rid of ICE, then they should broaden the powers of the State and county and local officials to take action against illegals. I see that could be a plus,
Didn't Chuck Schumer introduce a bill to legalize weed federally?
Let's see what happens to Schumer's bill. When it comes to Congress, chickens are hard to count. Hell, the Republicans alone seem to be like herding cats.
Seem like we're heading in the right direction, no?
Maybe. I don't know that pot has much to do with that. Mexican weed? Really? Have they done something about all those seeds?
Certainly would do more for border security than a wall wouldn't you say?

At least you're asking the right question.
If you asked the vocal majority here, they seem to believe abolishing ICE means open, un-controlled borders where anyone can come in unchecked.
Abolishing ICE outright is absurd, especially when the bill will fail to get passed anyway, but it just needs fine tuning.
Seems American politics is now about who can overreact more.

I don't want to live in California.
So I don't.
I lived on the peninsula for a short while. Too cold. Foggy.
Northern California is just as good/bad as anywhere else in this country IMO.
