Last night, I learned something that seems almost inconceivable.

In the Steele dossier, a "significant player" credited with hacking Democratic Party leadership claims to have NEVER been contacted by any US government official, agency or investigation.

That player is Alexei Gubarev, CEO of XBT/Webzilla.

After Buzzfeed's publication of the dossier, Gubarev immediately sued Buzzfeed and Steele for defamation.

First, here is what Steele's dossier said about Gubarev:

[redacted] reported that over the period March-September 2016 a company called XBT/Webzilla and its affiliates had been using botnets and porn traffic to transmit viruses, plant bugs, steal data and conduct “altering operations” against the Democratic Party leadership. Entities linked to one Alexei GUBAROV [sic] were involved and he and another hacking expert, both recruited under duress by the FSB, Seva KAPSUGOVICH, were significant players in this operation. In Prague, COHEN agreed contingency plans for various scenarios to protect the operations, but in particular what was to be done in the event that Hillary CLINTON won the presidency. It was important in this event that all cash payments owed were made quickly and discreetly and that cyber and that cyber and other operators were stood down / able to go effectively to ground to cover their traces.

Link.

Last week, Steele was deposed in relation to the defamation lawsuit by Gubarev's lawyers.

Trump dossier writer grilled by authorities as part of lawsuit

What blows me away is this interview with Gubarev @28:55:

At 31:45, Gubarev and his lawyer claim no one from Mueller's team or any investigative office has ever attempted to contact them.

Think about that for a moment.

WTF???

Why would this be possible?

Frankly, this eerily reminds me of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the film maker initially and speciously blamed for the Benghazi attacks and who is now destitute.

Old dog tricks, different ball?

Makes one wonder.

I read the same thing about a couple of those involved with the alleged Loretta Lynch promise not to let the investigation into Hillary's email "go too far." And yet Comey claims that alleged promise was one of the reasons he made the decisions he did about closing and/or announcing no criminal charges would be recommended.

You'd sure think someone would ask the principal parties (suspects) some questions, eh?

One would think that Mueller would at least make a show of interviewing everyone in the dossier. If, for nothing else than covering themselves.

It's not like they don't have enough time to interview everyone.

Show?

Aside from the fact that any REAL investigation would always seek to interview it's major suspects, the fact no one does in this case just further pushes me into the direction that this entire investigation is a complete sham.

He's identified in the dossier as a significant player in the hacking of senior DNC officials, and even wants to be interviewed!

What a terrible joke. Just blows my mind.

Nor has Bob Mueller interviewed Natalia V., the Russian lawyer with Kremlin connections, who met with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower.
thehill.com...

Mueller is supposed to be finding illegal Russian Collusion with the Trump campaign. It defies the senses that he would NOT interview Ms. Natalia V..

Conclusion: Mueller isn't really out to "get Trump" for colluding with Russia. He's either setting up to Frame the President, or is working WITH the President to help drain the swamp.

It's a pretense to find other crimes, they knew from the beginning there was no collusion, the FBI agents who started it said as much in text messages that they did not expect anything to come from collusion.
